I've always played gunslinger in crucru including trials. I want to start playing nightstalker because the grenades are so fucking good but I have to get over the learning curve first. At least the jumps are the same and I bet shadestep is nice once you can use it effectively.

Well that guy is wrong. The enemies in the Oryx encounter are all 320 light, so at 310 you'll be doing less damage and taking more but you can still hang. Especially since you'll have gotten drops from the bosses up to then and probably jump a few light levels.

Light level damage differences work in 5s. Every 5 light you'll notice a difference.
