Crit build is the safer build yeah. Armor Pen build is still fairly safe and scales reasonably well although not as well as the crit build.

But when you get going on the armor pen build you'll just shred them every fight if you're not playing like a tard.

Both allow you to do more damage with your ult. But the crit build will do more damage late. Armor pen more damage early.

The matchup is pretty favored in Yasuo's favor. This is due to the fact he can shove in waves on leblanc, while she has a hard time clearing waves pre 6 and has to use her full rotation plus a ton of mana just to keep up with yasuo's clear. If she chooses to trade instead Yasuo should be up a ton in farm.

Straight up Yasuo has a higher skillcap than Leblanc imo so low elo players will do much worse seeing as most of them can't farm so it comes down to using your abilities properly.
