Have been running a mage team with Golbez/Kefka/Kefka/Vivi/Fina.

I can either go Cecil/Kefka/Kefka/Tellah/Golbez for a mage squad, or Cecil/Arty/CoD/Tellah/Lenna for physical with Cheer and Raise and Tellah's -aga spells. Inclined to keep going with the mage team, but 2x Barrage users with Cheer seems pretty strong. What sayest thou, /ffg/?

Celes/Edgar/Setzer/Terra is more important than him as the first 3 are mandatory party members during the World of Ruin and Terra joins in endgame if you don't recruit her while he goes moping about for Phoenix during the fact that those 4 are fighting the final battle against Kefka.

I need a character to carry these shitters and the next batch for 1 stage since I can RW the other two. I was doing it with retaliate so far, but I only got 2 characters that can use it and no souls to unlock another, one is already capped and the other is very soon to be.

The character that I have above Lv50 are Quina, Faris, Bartz and Relm, none of them have their relics but I guess Bartz and Faris could use Fran's bow.

I have no melee AoE and all magic AoE I got are the Ice and Lightning spells at 2*.

What they need to do for BE is make the 5000 pull guarantee both a 5* and a 4* and reduce the pool size of drawing units to their minimum rank. So blue crystals only drop the 3* base units, gold crystals net only the 4* base units, and rainbow crystals only drop a 5* base units.

This makes it so that pulling for 5000 is worth it and makes it so that if you don't get what you want, you can whale it out to get more rolls.

Just making so the crystals are always minimum rarity would help a lot since this wouldn't waste possible good rolls on trash units, having guaranteed 5* outside of new year or birthday events is just not going to happen, it doesn't in any mobile game and would decrease their revenue by a fucking lot.

Other thing they could do is making the 4*+ rarity ticket or some new currency that you gain by pulling and with enough of it you can choose and buy the unit you want, making it very expensive for base 5*

Honestly, most of that could be put to rest with the customization you are getting, characters do elaborate and stylish team up attacks with you in dozens of variations (Noctis tosses a spear to Ignis for a finisher, or Noctis and Prompto switch weapons for a combo). Along with magic having such variety in infusions and the wait mode, I think if you are still firmly against it at this point, nothing would really change your mind. 13 had probably the most passionate battle theme next to Man with the Machine Gun imo.

Story I kind of agree with you on, but as someone who helped a friend make a guide (I was in charge of finding the break level for enemies, weaknesses, and such), the gameplay was pretty good. How good you felt when you mastered how the paradigm system worked and felled your first Adamantoise without resorting to cheap kills with Vanille's Death (the real ones on Pulse of course), was quite nice.
