Earthquake damage is shared so the easiest way to deal with it is by bringing a bunch of alts. It's also always neutral so having Ghostring or Neutral resist cards will help a lot. You can also outpot it if you have enough max HP since it's not just 1 big damage instance.

Regarding blank card prizes, the script is nowhere to be found. So I'm thinking of just replacing the blank card drop with prize medals (and making them tradable). Is this agreeable or a kuso idea?

I got a huge list of hats to add (thanks be to Quattro) and so a lot of them will be making their way into the game over time.
