First off, from her playrate of 2.4% we see the FOTM shitters have dropped her and she is being played mostly by dedicated mains. FoTM shitters drag a champs win rate down, and dedicated mains bring it up. Hence why Sol has the highest winrate in the jungle. He's a trash jungler but it's just one autistic Sol main.

By comparison Shyvana, who got dumpstered on with the nerf of her Q, the nerf of Titty Hydra, and the removal of devourer, is still over a 50% win rate with a 2.88% playrate because of dedicated mains.

So she's still playable, but her kit is very clearly nerfed when Shyvana is higher than her with how hard Shyvana was nerfed. Win rate not meaning everything regardless, that's too big of a detail to not mean SOMETHING.

first of all shyvana has a kit more inclined to solo queue since she's so greedy and is easier to play than kindred

if we look at counterplay.xyz we can see (sample sizes kind of suck so you have to take everything with a grain of salt) that shyvana's winrate goes down as the elo increases whereas kindred is the opposite
i wouldn't say one or the other are particularly stronger than the other.
they're both playable, far from being top tier junglers but both can be played to reasonable success

I'm complaining about how anticlimactic it is. I'd rather if they scaled down the rate you get a box so that the chances of getting a skin remain the same and removing the champion shard from the loot. It's like when you were a kid and got socks for your birthday. It doesn't matter if they were nice socks or if you needed them, it's just too much of a let down either way.

None. Multiplayer video games are inherently imbalanced unless everyone is playing the exact same character. Video games will never, ever be balanced in the same way a sport is. That's why e-sports are a fucking joke. In a game with over a hundred characters, there's no way to make it balanced. In football and rugby and cricket, you don't have to worry about a player activating his Assfuck button that wins the entire game, or the "developers" changing the rules on a whim to make sure it's more fun for everyone.

Trying to make a "balanced" multiplayer video game that isn't pure symmetry is a fucking joke. The closest you might get is a 1v1 deathmatch shooter, like Quake, where game skill and knowledge (and not character power) are the deciding factors.

Only in the simplest of games, anything more results in: which strategy counters the other strategy, and who is getting lucky and out predicting your opponents on what they will do. LoL's equivalent is champ select but also baron calls etc. Football it would be plays, and so on.

Other than that I agree, you are right. Anything completely balanced though is boring. That's why it comes down to strategy.
