Ive only ever healed raids for many expansions and honeslty a lot of it comes to feel. I have literally primarrly healed on resto druid for over 6 years and it becomes second nature what to do in different situations. Once you get through a fight a few times you learn what kind of damage to expect, and that makes it a lot easier because you know how to handle it now.

I just chose the server without checking balance because it was high population pvp with the name of a character I like and decently close geography.

So what happens to your character's gear exactly when you join an arena or a BG ?

Does your gear matter? Does your weapon matter to calculate your damages? Or are we all clones created by a blizzard's employee?

I'm struggling to get this right, it seems we're all clones since as a Rogue I got the same HP as my Warrior friend, but then some people claims they're dealing more damages with PVP gear/weapons when joining a BG than when they had no gear.

So what's happening exactly to my stats when I join an arena or a BG? Getting tired of receiving mixed answers, help me /wowg/.

I don't want to condone this type of behavior, but I believe the major pvpers are switching to horde, tich is the nexus of most of those pvpers with a few strewn about various servers as well.
i'm not an authority on pvp but any horde dominant server should be a safe bet. wowprogress.com shows pops as defined by number of people that have killed a raid boss, which is indicative of overall population.
Personally I would switch servers, but I would not level to 60 then boost, the gain from free profs is certainly not worth the time it takes to level especially without heirlooms. leveling profs takes literally 5kg total now on average for both.
tl:dr switch servers if you want to be safe, don't waste boost after leveling to 60, wowprogress.com for pop info
