i quit back in april
i've got my pirate 10 weap, a few of the new 50 accs but mostly true siren, no soul even just 77 labyrinth pieces, and my hm skills that were out at the time... what do i do? every time i log on i feel lost and just log off again because i'm not even familiar with all the stuff that came out with lv. 50 yet let alone what exists now. Is there some sort of guide?

Same three classes have a thousand tools and here I am with nothing. Im fucking 1400 silver and im fighting sins who have a basic understanding of their class and I have a 20 second CD that usually gets evaded and thats my only tool to fight them so why even bother.

PvP is shit for warlock, should just get 2X health pool against all non mirrors. I gank people in overworld because my class is --> make a single mistake on any level and get stunlocked. Cant any actually GOOD warlocks in the general explain to me the fucking purpose of my 1 skill when knocked down? It has never even a single time done anything. Ever. It is literally a self-stun and thats it.

Warlock really isn't all that bad in PVP, you just have to play the game a lot more different than other classes.

When knocked down, your 1 skill is the same as every other classes quick getup, its purpose is to be used when you think your opponent isn't going to hit you while on the ground or during a window; however, classes don't have to worry about hitting into counter against WL so its not really all that effective except for looking to use it in that window of opportunity.

it's the same thing every other class deals with when fighting a kfm except with Tab. That's just the nature of pvp. Big mistakes have big consequences.

During the period of time that you thrall is out, you should definitely try to use it as a pillar and kite around it to mess with their targetting. With bastion up, against classes like KFM, Destroyer, and Sin, you want to push into them and block to bait their defense break. This will give you some breathing room where you can literally hold block while waiting for cooldowns.

Before LoL was big the MMO market was booming, then LoL started shitting all over the market by simply being the biggest game out there.

StarCraft2 Pro play, and competative scene crashed hard because of LoL, too.

Bigger you get, the more likely you are to have players stay with you.

Same person that gave class specific advice above, I can assure you that the pressure Warlock applies will force all defensive cooldowns from their opponent very quickly. Are you using bombardment during every CC? The damage adds up and forces a response. If they don't use their defensives, you just PVE them without using CC and kill them.

I don't know how it is for other classes, but I've always had to approach spin classes as their own beast as KFM and SF. They're only vulnerable to KD and Knockup so it becomes much more about the ground game. Knowing how to tech chase, knowing when they've already used their retreat and groundcounter, being able to react to the get up skill, etc

If your KD and Siphon didn't work on the spin, it was most likely Red Spin which makes them immune to most CCs and will also stun you if you get hit by it 5 times consecutively.

If they are resisting for a long period of time and are glowing blue, they definitely used blue buff (Persistence) and means that you are 1 defensive cooldown away from being able to 100-0 them guaranteed. If the resist is for a short time and they are red, it's red buff (Fury). Sorry if this stuff is already obvious/known to you, I have no idea what your skill/knowledge level is so I'm assuming from base.

Bombardment costs less mana while the opponent is CC'd and if you get the HM skill for it (which is insanely highly recommended), it costs 0 focus meaning you get to spam it with no cast time and no cost [Left path HM Bombardment].

MMO market was doing fine with few closures, then LoL got huge, and there were game closures left and right. Including other MOBAs like Dawngate.
Do you really think WoW bleed half its player base because it was short on content? No, it's because there was a Free game out there, that allowed tons of players to get their PVP fix without spending a dime.
Do you think every MMO release these days would be struggling hard as they are if LoL had been around? No the MMO market would have continued to rise in population.
Not even Dota2, a better designed and supported game than LoL can't even come close to what LoL has, despite being the highest pay out of any professional level scene ever to happen.

If you're forced to tab then bastion > thrall > recall > ss and run back until you have cooldowns unless it's 1v1.

You can also place thrall 15m away or so and bastion > ws/helix and kill whoever > S3 sanctum as bastion starts to expire > leech > more ws/helix and then purposefully get cc'd to thrall swap to safety. However thrall will despawn if you get roughly 30m from it so try to avoid getting gripped by FM's. Using thrall leap to cc someone gripping you is also viable but it can be unreliable at times.

You can use escapes as mobility skills or iframes too. F roll > ss puts 20m between you and the other player which breaks targeting and counters any poorly times techchases on the F roll.
Every techchase will be awful because everyone in owpvp is bad.

Use knock up parry block for owpvp. It's generally shit but there are a lot of FM's in ssp who will try to pve you which lets you stun lock them very easily. They will generally tab after stunning themselves too.

Plus, you can easily tech chase the F roll most people will do as they land after getting knocked up.
