Hey some guy tried to scam me earlier, I was in warrior guild before and they came up to me and asked me to help them, traded me what the trade window suggested was 8m worth of items and then asked me to 'combine them'

I was barely paying attention and laughed at them because it was obviously a scam and closed the trade window, they hopped worlds straight away but not im super curious what was the scam even

It kinda looked like a banner (like the hosidius one, but clearly not, I think it was mostly brown?) top part and then there was like just straight verticle pieces of timber, they traded me 4 of each and the trade window suggested it was worth about 8m all up

I'm super curious what would have happened if I accepted the trade, was it something specific to being in the warrior guild? Or would combining the items have done something negative to me? I can't imagine it'd be death because don't your items stay on the ground for like an hour anyway?

I really wish I'd gone a long with it a little cause now im super curious as to what the fuck they were trying to do

what is your combat lvl? I'm lvl 93 so I don't need much. You could get by with a rune plate, rune legs, weapon (drag scim or long), antifire shield, ammy of power. If you have protect item you can bring a 4th expensive item but I always bring a ppot(1) in case they smite.

It's really not risky at all if you're paying attention. I prefer the very eastern most green drag spot. Hover around the rock that pkers spawn by in 20-21. If you see a pker and you're mid drag just attack-walk your drag back to 20 wildy and tablet out if you feel threatened.

Make sure to bring a looting bag too. You could make around 200k in one trip I think. Tele to corp beast with games necklace and run straight east.

Can you have a clue scroll (medium) and a clue bottle (medium)? Or is it just different tiers that really matter?

Most skills in Runescape have a manual exp curve, it's not linear. To get to level 92, you need 6.5 million experience. To get to level 99, you need 13 million experience. This makes the last few levels (ESPECIALLY 98 to 99) a massive chore.

Level 97 to 99 almost requires the same amount of exp to get from 80 to 90, so it's easy to see why getting to 99 can feel like a serious chore.
