This is incorrect. Only the webkit bug was adapted as a PoC.

How do I play iso's and these "folders" on my ps3?

PKG's I know how to do. But 80% of downloads for ps3 games are iso's or folders with files inside.

All i know I need a ps3 game in the disc slot maybe so just to be sure I got some shitty baseball game for $0.78 at gamestop

That doesnt tell me anything. Where do folders and isos go, what do I do in webman
>>
>>151370251

FTP them over if your internal hard drive is big enough. There should be a folder called GAMES for folders and PS3ISO (or something similar) for PS3 isos. Or you can use the same folders on a USB device.
>>
>>151370112
GAMES on hdd0 and usb* are the default places searched these days I think.

So folders in games in hdd0 and iso's in...

Ill drop one into games and one into ps3iso or whatever and see.

Once I have it figured out, I put a game into the disc tray, open webman and just launch the game off XMB (the game iso or folder, not the game in disc tray)

I forget if the firmware or MM does it but running multiman should create the directories you'll be using without wiping anything, isos these days go into the PS3ISO folder instead of games but I imagine it won't mind them going into games anyway.

Be sure to use the newest rebug, it just werks. Go into the toolbox and enable multiman and cobra, only time you don't want to use cobra really is certain psx stuff like what happens in MGS4.

really? I could have sworn a few days ago I tried dragons crown folder and it didnt work and I had it in games on hdd0

That simple? There's no 60 terminals and multiple access denied prompts?

HENKaku is practically confirmed to be a kernel exploit, right? I mean, it's as close to being confirmed without somebody saying "HENKaku is a kernel exploit", so what's stopping us from telling the Vita to decrypt games? Is it because we don't have HENKaku's source?

Thanks by the way.

>mfw they didn't mention that Sony warned people ahead of time that they were going to ban people, and even said that users could avoid being banned by removing the offending files

Not to mention, they only did that since PS3 was actual piracy. I doubt Sony will start banning Vita owners for what's essentially only homebrew and one leaked game. Even if they do, they're going to warn people ahead of time or they might honestly not care enough about the Vita to bother.

>>151370702
multiMAN sorta disables webMAN until next boot, just so you know

As for ISO loading you need cobra for that, it's not supported without it. Might explain why it didn't work before.

Who the fuck shares ISOs anyway? Scene only ever did JB format after dongles happened
>>
>>151370702
There is a small dream sequence in MGS4 where you infiltrate shadow moses, it's literally about 2 minutes and it simply doesn't work with cobra because for some lazy ass reason it uses PS1 shit which being switched to all of a sudden is bad.
You simply turn it off just before you get to that segment, finish it, save and move on with your life. Of course using an iso version of mgs4 is going to be a major asspain, MM can handle extraction if need be so it's not a major problem, or you can use the psn version, still need to disable cobra for that segment most likely.

I recommend making most of your games iso since it will bunch small files together, small files are the enemy of speed. Sometimes it simply doesn't matter.
>>
>>151370601

The Vita knows how to decrypt eboots. If it didn't, it couldn't play them. With a kernel exploit you can just use the same functions to decrypt things and have immediate access to the output.

HENkaku is closed source. It gains kernel access, patches a few things (enabling the installation of unencrypted content is the important thing) and then closes.
So it is a kernel exploit, but until we figure out how it works we only have userland access.

Oh, I'm not worried. Even if my account gets banned I'm press, so I can argue that I only used the homebrew to be able to cover it, since I write for a site that focuses and both Technology and Video Games. Considering that, I'm fairly confident that even if I get banned I could get myself unbanned.

Not that guy but I have 2 ps3 and the ftp function of BSD makes me froth at the mouth to the point I'm remaking the fucking program specifically because of the ftp autoconnect.

>Who the fuck shares ISOs anyway?

Well I get my stuff off ps3iso and most the games I am interested in end up being folders or iso's and I had to hunt for pkg files which seemed rare there, even though psndl exists their selection is really limited sadly.

I'd care if my PSN account got banned. I've got a bunch of trophies and purchases tied to my account.

I keep unhacked spares on different firmwares in case cool hacks come out for lower firmwares. Unhacked spares can become hacked spares in case of hardware failure.

Whats the cheapest way to played free 360 games?

360 mod scene looks dead and a big hassle.

Just tell me the ideal shit to buy to make my experience quick and easy. Like for PS3's its buy a system on 3.55 OFW and copy some files to it and boom done.

Whats the XBOX 360 equivalent? I really want to play Lost Odyssey and some other 360 exclusive RPG's.

I dont mind buying the hardware and modchips to do it myself but all the links to buy the items are dead Ebay and Alibaba links and the photo guides on these defunct forums is full of a bunch of dead pictures.

And so many JTAG variations...

Sorry to be a pain, but I've tried Googling first:

My brother has given me his old PSP 2000 running 6.60 ME-1.1 and I'm trying to work out the motherboard revision. I've run PSPIdent, but all it says is TA-085, and doesn't mention if it's rev2 or rev3. I wanna make a Pandora's battery, but don't wanna fuck up. Is there another homebrew app or way to tell which revision it is?
>>
>>151371485
Not gonna post it here, m8. Sony lurks.

But yeah, I highly doubt they'll ban anyone yet - and if they do, I doubt they'll ban me. If they do, I'm pretty confident a quick talk with some of my contacts could get shit fixed quick.
>>
>>151370648
there is two main way (I think) to install a theme
the first way is to install them via CHHM2, it should be in the homebrew if you put all th files of the starter pack, and as you said you'll jusst have to put the themes in the 'Themes' folder
the second way is to convert the theme into a .cia file and install them with FBI, you can do it with Howling Theme Tool
And if you want to create your own theme, you can use either Usagi or Yata+
>>
>>151371592

If it's ME instead of LME, then it's definitely a Pandorable.
>>
>>151371441
jtag/rgh/2 or bust.

Depends mostly on the motherboard.
I'd recommend rgh2 since you don't need to bridge or remove fuses.
It's been a while for me but I doubt current dash means much these days, at least not for rgh.
You dump your nand, patch it with your hacked dash goodness and then install the glorified stun prod to shock the cpu into doing your bidding.

No other way really. As long as it isn't that pointless newest model it should be fine, i recommend against a xenon (model v1) due to the high failure rate and general lack of support for things like rgloader.
>>

Thanks bud, I found CHHM2 but didn't know any of the other stuff

>>
>>151371682

>>
>>151371729
my pleasure, also the second way is better if you want to change themes since they will be available directly in the home theme settings, if you use CHHM2 you'll have to launch the homebrew everytime, which can be a hassle
>>

How do I deal with large games copying them to the HDD of my PS3?

Normally I just use PFS in multiman to read my 16gb NTFS memory stick and copy the single file over instead of splitting it for FAT32 drives.

But the game I want is almost 30gb.

So I split the file with ps3splitter and got a bunch of 1gb files. Can I copy half to my HDD then copy the 2nd half (30gb game and only 16gb memory stick) after with no issues?

How do I combine the files back into a single original pkg file once all the parts are in hdd0?

The last model before corona because that one is needless hassle.
Reason you want the newer ones is they're more energy efficient, reduced failure rate and the rgloader devs actually give a shit about it (I'm a dev of sorts for some RTM stuff and I've got 2 xenons, nightmare).

Something like the xcool runner or whatever it's called by team executor will do nicely.
You dump your nand use xebuild gui to inject the hacked dash and flash that back. The RGH components need to stay in to glitch the console every single time, they've got it down to a fine art it's quite reliable. You can also use multiple nands which lets you jump between retail, hacked and dev hybrid (rgloader) for trainer making and such, you can do that in hacked dash as well but the replacement xbdm plugins while brilliant in their own way are comparatively awful to the official one.

It boils down to: the console, the chip to shock the cpu at bootup, some temporary cables to dump the real nand, a multiple nand chip to store your custom nands and thats about it the last being optional.
#1 skill needed is soldering, everything else is backseat.

>>
>>151376817
I spent a week trying to get that shit to work. It might be simple, but it's not easy.
>>
>>151376850

The problem is that the files are scattered everywhere. I had to find the patching utility for the latest OFW myself because the guide didn't provide it.
The actual hardmod part though? Disassemble, stick a clip on the NOR chip, partial reassemble and you're good.
>>
>>151376817
Pain to disassemble though, ribbon cables in excess, then theres the deal with the thermal paste and half assing it while applying the nor chip reader and then having to clamp it on because it's getting flimsy from repeated use.

May i never need to do another because it stopped being fun after the 2nd time.

In comparison the 360 is a literal box with a lid and some plastic nonsense.

executor forums has a buy/sell if i recall and look at gamesave modding sites as well some have active marketplaces.
maxconsole might as well but I can't confirm, haven't been there in years.
Some also offering modding services where you send the console to them, if the site is reputable enough you can usually trust them, sometimes better if you live in the middle of some obscure place.

It's slightly easier than ps3, there is no encryption needing rap files or pkg installs, literal drag and drop, even has smb support!
dlc, full games it simply doesn't matter it plays what it is told.
Don't forget to use a custom dash like aurora, hacked dash by itself is pure shit. dash launch will autoboot it for you and protect you from live, it's pretty simple.
>>
>>151376149
Also I'd like to add I deleted the all data relevant to Drakengard 3 from the "Game Data Utility" in xmb, and I copied the save game to a flashdrive, deleted it from the console, and restored it from the flashdrive.
Still, no dice.
>>
>>151369908
I tried installing monster hunter gen but it crashes when I launch it. I tried deleting it and then downloading it from the eshop but at about 90% the eshop gives me an error.

>>
>>151377804
Try backing up your save, deleting everything related to Drakengard (game, DLC, updates, etc.), getting a different ISO with the same region as the one you're playing, installing that and restoring your save.

Between these dead links and amatuer YouTube videos I'm going insane, and people have the gall to call 3ds modding "too complicated"?

Anyone wanna link me to a guide about how to set up my USB to play GameCube games? I've already got USB Loader GX and Nintendont.

Do I need to format it or partition it or something? I thought USB/games/Mario_Kart/game.iso would be all I needed.

The problem is that having just a TA-085v1 mobo is not enough; you need a battery with a writable controller, and Sony stopped manufacturing them when they started making TA-088v3 mobo's. So unless you have an original battery that came with a Pandora-capable PSP, it cannot be pandored on any PSP. Just buy a prepandored one off of ebay/aliexpress/dx/whatever.
>>
>>151381538
Don't format to WBFS. Make sure you've set your Loader to look for all game types, not just channels and the like. That opton is in the top bar.
>>
>>151381027
FAT32 format

games/MarioKart[GameID]/game.iso

The /Game[GameID]/ can be anything you want, but the ISO needs to be inside of a folder on its own. Or look at whatever loader you use and make sure it's pointed at your games folder.

>>151381538
WBFS is kind of a dead format you don't need anymore.
>>
>>151381620
Does that mean I shouldn't bother with WBFS Manager if I only want GameCube games?

There seems to be a general problem with .3ds files in that they take up way more space than necessary.

Is there a way I can convert .cia files back to .3ds files?
Or a simple way to reduce the filesize of .3ds without converting them to .cia?

If there is some sort of tool for the second option, I would prefer that, since I already have a bunch of .3ds files.

Let's be realistic about Vita piracy.

Do we think it's gonna happen?
If it does, when do we think it will?

I do think it will happen, but not for a few months at least. Maybe not even with henkaku.
>>
>>151388825

I think it's going to be real soon. All it takes is for the reverse engineering of HENkaku to be complete. At that point we have piracy.

Didn't the ps4 have kernel access with 1.76? Didn't that lead literally nowhere? Who's to say this will go anywhere either? Isn't the big problems still going to be forcing decryption either by removing the requirements of a key or through ram, and spoofing or allowing online access.

Last I heard online access will never be possible on an OOD FW because of how server authentication works in relation to the private and public keys.

>>
>>151389725

>>
>>151386885
Its not a "problem". Theyre raw dumps. That means theyre padded with zeroes like any other cartridge. And theyre encrypted so you can't just solve that with compression. CIA files don't hove a header. You can probably mangle a CIA back into a 3DS file but there's no point and you'd have to keep that metadata at least, so you wouldn't save much space. For the most part 3DS to CIA should be considered non reversible. So if you're archiving like you would FLAC files, store 3DS files. If you're archiving like you would high nitrate MP3, store CIA
>>

The Vita has at least been proven to be able to load backups with HENkaku, they just need decrypted eboots. So when someone can solve that you've got your piracy. Nobody here can tell you when that will be though.
>>
>>151389898

Me and a few friends are working on decrypting eboots, it's proving to be pretty fucking hard. It's seems like it'd be easier to circumvent DRM checks by patching the kernel, since the protection is pretty top tier compared to other systems.

I'm not saying me and my band of merry memers are geniuses, but to us it doesn't look like decrypting eboots will be possible for a while. Impossible until HENkaku is fully blown open and we understand exactly how it works.

Yifan should stop being a fuccboi and just release the source code. Him not doing that is actually hindering the scene at the moment in terms of releases and possibilities.

Vita would be amazing with full control.
>access to PS1, PSP, and Vita libraries
>handheld emulation with extras like the NES, SNES, etc
>all in a great package with a good screen and amazing dpad
They only thing holding it back is the shitty flash prices. I don't see any new handhelds anytime soon. Rumors of the NX with with a Tegra X1 might be cool, but I think it's too early. They should have waited for 2017 and gotten a modern SoC with 14nm-16nm GPU cores.
>>
>>151390050
Isn't the problem related to decrypting the eboot a combination of per game decryption and the private key? I heard that was going to be literally impossible without just straight up forcing the vita to run the decryption process locally.

And what about online access? Following the scene until two days ago I read that even were there a way in, going online or spoofing FW would be impossible because of SSL encryption that would require keys to be obtained from a currently unhackable current FW.
>>
>>151390087
That's like asking to covert MP3 back to FLAC. Technically you can do it lossleslly if you stored a bunch of metadata about the conversion, but that's a stupid and pointless thing to do.

While you are correct with this, I actually like this approach.
He called out for people to help him after he made Rejuvenate so the Vita can flourish. Nobody really cared about this because it was userland only.
Now, he managed to get kernel control and made a `contest'. Now he has the interest of the others and they are working on how he did it.

Read the post again. It would be easier to patch the kernel. Not "it's easier to patch the kernel"

Meaning it's a hypothetical situation.

We can't patch the kernel yet because we don't have full control over it.

We don't have full control over it because Yiffan-chan is holding back the goods and making people work for it.

Once it's fully reverse engineered, we'll know how HENkaku gets kernel access, then we can use that method, or a similar method to patch it.

>>
>>151391684
Sure, you can learn how he did it by reading the source code.
But to truly understand how it works you have to do it yourself even if it's through RE since that is also more guessing and figuring stuff out instead of simply reading some C code.

Who knows what he's thinking. He might still be in the non-console mentality, which wouldn't surprise me. Consoles follow a different set of rules in just how fucked you can be because more laws pertain to them.

But HENkaku doesn't circumvent atipiracy restrictions so (a)(2) doesn't apply. It would if HENkaku included a loader, but he specifically restricted his worm to userland homebrew to prevent that. He'd be fine with any decent attorney.

a2 applies for the same reason the 1201 exemptions or fair use for that matter don't apply. In reference to that, give this a read in your spare time:
http://copyright.gov/1201/2015/fedreg-publicinspectionFR.pdf
The Tl;DR jailbreaking and homebrew provides a link to piracy in reference to games console, thus it's illegal. In a simpler to understand form: it's illegal because people can't be trusted not to pirate.

He would spend a costly penny on a lawsuit he legally could not win. Assuming he wouldn't settle out of court, like literally everybody thus far who's come under the magnifying glass of Sony who spares no expense when it comes to these things. It's surprising, actually.

drm circumvention is illegal in the us (and countries it exports its copyright law to through trade agreements, which is a lot of first world countries) under the dmca except for certain devices which are determined to be excluded by the library of congress (for instance, cell phones; you can legally jailbreak/root/etc. your cell phone without running afoul of the dmca). gaming consoles and handhelds are very specifically NOT on the list of exclusions. so basically, ALL of this is illegal, even the relatively benign stuff that smea and friends do on the 3ds.

with that said, most companies aren't going to bother with it unless they determine it to be cutting into their bottom line.

False. Use and intent do not matter. If it can reasonably be proven to be a way in, it is illegal. This was done before:

It does not matter if you use it for homebrew only because that is still considered illegal under the DMCA for game consoles and game consoles only.

Quick question.
When I run the a9lh installer it basically installs it to my NAND, yes?
That's why the otp.bin isn't needed afterward and your 3DS can only boot up with the a9lhhax.bin on your SD card?
So updating the hax is basically accessing the NAND and updating the file again?

The arm9loaderhax exploit resides in the FIRM0 and FIRM1 partitions of the 3DS NAND.
Like the names imply, this is where the main portion of the firmware, FIRM, usually resides.
Most system updates come with an updated FIRM.
However, most CFWs implement FIRM protection. This means that it patches the firmware to block any attempt to overwrite the FIRM0 and FIRM1 partitions when it updates.

If your hands have regular sized fingers, or you use a finger tip or claw grip, get a Vita. It'll soon be able to do everything a PSP can do and way more.

Loader reffers to HD Loader, a disc to boot ISOs from a PS2 fat model's hard drive unit.

Advance reffers to a chink clone of Loader that at some point had slightly better compatibility

Free MCBoot is a Memory Card mod, instead of having a "Homebrew channel" on the system's nand, it's in the memory card.

OPL = Open PS2 Loader, another ISO Loader, unlike HD Loader and HD Advance it does not require disc, it has a vastly improved compatibility with the PS2's library and can also stream ISOs from your PC through LAN for those who only have slim PS2s.

And now you know.
>>
>>151421252

OPL is still getting updated but that's all.

There are a bunch of different ways to get FMCB (your gateway to pirating anything), what you should pick depends on what you have at hand and what model PS2 you have.
>>
>>151421573
Not him, but OPL getting updates is good enough to quality as alive.

>>
In Plialect's guide

is downgrading to 2.1 necessary?
>>
>>151426998

The structure is supposed to be: /root/3ds/Emunand9/

That's really it, but if you can see Emunand9 from the homebrew menu, you have the files in the right place.

If it's not starting up, then either something went wrong with the 9.2.0 downgrade (did ANY errors show up? If so, you need to redo the downgrade), or your SD card is bonked.

At this point, you might as well reinstall the 9.2.0 Downgrade and just watch it to make sure there are no errors. If there are, you HAVE to redo the whole thing (While you might be able to set up Rednand eventually even if your 9.2.0 downgrade has an error, you will brick your 3ds if you try to go to 2.1.0 from a botched 9.2.0).

If there's no errors, and it still doesn't work, then your SD card is fucked.

>>
>>151428069
Nope, Firm changes could wreck everything.

The only reason a9lh could even deal with it is by updating the loader - it doesn't just "work" with the new firm. We need the update first.

The thing is, since a9lh's loader is booted first, it'll always be compatible with any firm updates. With emuNand, there's a potential that Nintendo can practically patch out any way for them to work with a new firm since the firm loads before the emuNand - they have to deliberately do so though, a new firm by itself with only a version number change wouldn't affect anything.

Thank goodness.

Yeah, when opening up any of the homebrew apps, it can take 10+ tries to do so. When opening up Luma or OTPHelper, it can also take up to 2 minutes for it to load properly.

If you hit 30 tries or more though, something's usually wrong with the files, the sd card, or the system.
>>
>>151429134

The PSP 1000 has 32 MB of RAM. The PSP 2000 and above have 64 MB of RAM.

On games which aren't programmed to use the high memory mode, the extra memory is used for a UMD cache. The kernel handles this transparently. But it's usually better to let the game have access to the extra memory.

I hear that can damage your memory stick.

Pro CFW is open source but ME isn't.
ME has just about all the features Pro does, but also has some extra neat stuff. It can play .dax format games, which are smaller than .cso and load faster. It also has some extra configuration options including a superior UMD driver.
Battery life shouldn't be affected.
You can have both CFWs installed at once, and neither conflicts with the other. You just select the launcher you want.

You can just find it all in the recovery menu. It's there for power users mainly.

GBA Emulation is actually pretty good for the PSP, but you have to be using TempGBA or gpSP-J, not the original (and abandoned) gpSP. It's not perfect and there are definitely a few troublesome games, but every game is playable and most run and perfect speeds.

On Vita, GBA Emulation is absolute shit and will remain that way for a few months.

It lets you unbrick because a9lh loads up before anything else in the 3ds (except the physical electrical checks, which I'll get to in a second), and so it will allow you to boot up Decrypt which you can then use to flash any sysnand you want. So no matter what happens to sysnand, you can always bring it back. It's virtually impossible to hardbrick the 3ds after you load a9lh.

The exception is the physical electrical checks, which aren't a big deal EXCEPT for the LED screen lighting - there's a homebrew app that allows you to much around with the LED's themselves, and if the 3ds doesn't detect the lights exist on boot, it won't send power to the rest of the 3ds. So never muck around with the 3ds screen lights, since it's the only way after getting a9lh to hardbrick your 3ds.

Good tests of GBA Emulators are:

>FFVI or Golden Sun
For the mode 7 graphics (they slow down a lot if the emulator sucks)
>Chain of Memories
For rendering FMV's (this either glitches or freezes if the emulator can't render it properly)
>Megaman Zero 2
For checking to make sure the audio is syncing properly (music will be out of sync and choppy if the emulator can't handle all the channels)
>Scurge Hive
For checking on graphical transitions (the transition to the menu will cause a glitched but working screen if the emulator is bad with relocating items in memory)
>Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure
For checking on overall performance (FPS drops will be common during 1v1 fighting sections if the emulator can't handle the game).

You'd literally need to convert the DS rom into a DSiWare title for it to even be read (only Nintendo knows how to do this or if it's possible, as they did it with Advanced Wars Days of Ruin, and it's likely they just remade it as a DSiWare port) - then you'd need about 5x as much space as is available to install an average DS game.

Pretty high chance.

Don't buy from Gamestop or EB Games, because they don't accept returns on consoles, only exchanges, and if one of theirs is 11.0 then most of theirs will be.

Also no Special Chip games work yet (so no MMX 2 or 3, Star Fox, SMRPG, etc.). This is something that may or may not be fullspeed ever.

You have NO idea. There's probably been 1 every thread or two.

But the most common thing was that, for some unknown reason, they'd EXIT system settings after making sure they were on EMU, without realizing that exiting system settings always brings you back to sysNand - even though they didn't need to exit anything to do the update anyways.

>>151436709

If they do make a firm update to try and prevent the homebrewing, the a9lh devs will probably have the temporary update out in a day, and the full update out in a week.

If nintendo really wants to though, they can fuck non-a9lh CFW users right over and prevent them from ever accessing online again.

i got homebrew on 11.0.0-33 how I get free games
>>
>>151436736

Probably like 1%.

It's not a difficult process, but it's an involved as FUCK and lengthy process to go through if you don't want to pirate games.

The only thing you could get out of a9lh (excluding pirating) that you couldn't get out of just basic browserhax/menuhax (which takes minutes) is region changing. Which very, very few people do, since it's still kinda buggy.

Anyone happen to shit out an Ambition of the Slimes link?
>>
>>151437438
correct
>>
>>151436736
Not many.

The only reason to get an emuNand outside of pirating games is to have a second NNID on the system (which no one actually does). The only reason to go all the way to a9lh outside of pirating games is to change your system's region, which is all sorts of messy and almost completely unnecessary once you have a9lh anyways.

You can do shit like edit saves, make custom themes, etc. with just the basic homebrew hax we have.
>>
>>151437438

Yup. Emunand will actually be formatted in a bit (after being copied over to Sysnand).

You'll end up with ONLY a CFW sysNand at the end.

I've set up rednand on my N3DSXL. SysNAND had been formatted once before (bringing the total up to 2), so if I wanna do the 2.1.0 downgrade on rednand would I only have to format one time?

Also this question is just mere curiosity, but how would you remove a9lh on a 3ds with a9lh? Is it possible to do this while keeping the original sysnand or does it have to update to 11.0
>>
>>151438745
you remove a9lh by restoring a backup that never had it and deselecting keep a9lh

Anon, it only counts how many times SysNand has been formatted since the creation of RedNand.

If you want to be totally safe, format RedNand 3 times.

This is how people brick their 3ds's.

>>151435553

It's because PSP games were usually released on Usenet. There are size limits for articles there, so things need to be split into multipart archives. Usually you get some par2 files as well because Usenet is fucking shit and your downloads have a high probability of being corrupt. So you use the parity data to fix your archives and then extract the contents.

Those Usenet releases usually make their way to other file sharing methods. But they often keep them in the original archives for consistency, verification, integrity or something along those lines. Its all very dumb but that's what happens when you're dealing with an ancient protocol that was shoehorned into a filesharing platform

Hey guys can you help me out? I plan on picking up a jailbroken PS3, but I'm retarded and have a thing for obscure games, or low rated games, these games aren't on the pirate bay, rarbg, demonoid, where's the best place for me to find these games? Basically what's the best place to download PS3 games? Ps3iso? I wouldn't exactly like to pay for premium accounts to download the games.

Pretty sure there's an option to make your account inactive so you don't get removed. And as far as required seeding goes, BCG is extremely lenient with the seed point system.

Technically, while dumping your own cart for archival purposes is allowed, dumping it onto the 3ds and then playing it is still piracy thanks to extremely archaic digital rights laws

>>151441204
Uncart is slow as FUCK but it's the best we have - you'll almost never end up with an error. All the other softwares might be a bit faster but they either end up with errors all the time or they try to truncate unnecessary data which makes the dump usable but not 100% valid.

Pretty much never. You need to get an invite, and the easiest way to do that is to join another circlejerk, I mean private tracker.
>>
>>151442636

Are you already on a9lh?

If you have issues getting it to boot, then either your sysNand is corrupt or your SD card isn't being read properly.

First thing to do is to try a new SD card. If it works, voila.

Second thing would be to reload the backup a9lh sysNand you made when you first setup a9lh.

Setting up an emuNand within a9lh won't help in any way whatsoever (it affects nothing in sysNand, which is where you're having problems, and where you need to boot into in order to access emuNand), and whoever convinced you it was a good idea is a successful troll.
>>
>>151441727
>Technically, while dumping your own cart for archival purposes is allowed, dumping it onto the 3ds and then playing it is still piracy thanks to extremely archaic digital rights laws
That's bullshit. What if all of your cartridges have been destroyed for some reason? Couldn't you use the files you dumped to restore and play them legally? What would be the point of dumping them "for archival purposes" if you can't put it on a 3DS to play?

Not like I could dispute it since I pirate also anyways...
>>
>>151442673
I can't play my n3ds. It either blacks screen or an error will pop up and freeze. I've tried everything so if you have suggestions to fix my problem, I'm all ears.
>>
>>151442636

Setting up emunand is a horrible, timewasting suggestion. If it black screens or errors it's probably your sd card.
>>
>>151443032
Reload your sysnand backup. That's the entire reason for installing a9lh - if there's ever an issue, you can always revert back to the original a9lh sysnand backup you made during Step 5.

>>
>>151442909
I've tried two different cards, one of which I use in my o3ds to run rxtools. I've tried flashing a backup of when I first installed a9lh, and while the error doesn't freeze my system, when I update the FW it either freezes or black screens entirely.

I'm not sure it was a troll, but I'm literally out of ideas and anything would be better than nothing.

Feels good being able to play literal copies of my games in one spot, down to the save files. Also feels great pirating the latest and greatest shit and waiting for them to go on sale, purchase them legally, and transfer my save files over.

Sometimes I even have my copies interact with each other.

Do you have a proper arm9loaderhax.bin on your new SD cards? Is it up to date?
>>
>>151443398

This is going to suck, but try loading up the original sysNand from the beginning and see if that works.

Don't worry, a9lh will still be there. It's just if that works, that means your CFW Sysnand is corrupt.
