Honestly sounds like you've been immensely unlucky then. Either that or I've just been extremely lucky. They still need to improve their drops though, I agree. All elite slayer monsters' GP/h is way too low considering the effort it takes to kill them. Dark beasts and abyssal demons are more or less 100% afk and will give you so, so much more money in the time it takes you to do any raptor slayer monster task.

Sharpshooter, Brawler and Runic accuracy are all very good combat auras that I'd heavily recommend getting if you plan on doing any kind of combat.

Once you have those I'd also recommend getting Reckless, Berserker and Maniacal.

Sharpshooter's used whenever you feel like it to be honest. Since it provides ranged accuracy you'll obviously be using it when ranging, preferably against enemies with high defense. Kree, Nex, Spider (if ranging) are all possibilities, but you can also use it for slayer if you want.
