So I'm level 40 / 304 Light and I haven't done a single Raid yet. I played at launch, stopped right before the raid, then picked up TTK this year.

Not him but I use LFG to raid every week since I'm a friendless fuck. You'd be amazed to find how incompetent even the most experienced raiders are, and those are the people who know the raid. The people who don't are even worse, although some of that can't be helped since they don't know what they're doing. I fucking dread everytime I need to raid because I just know I'm going to get put with some kids who are all going to take 3 hours to beat Golgoroth. Most people don't mind going afk or straight up leaving the game whenever they have to answer the door for the pizza guy. Raiding with randoms is insufferable and there's a reason why people are 'elitist'. it's because nobody wants to spend all their time with some people they don't know, don't like, and get stuck with them doing the most basic shit that people shouldn't get stuck on. Look guys, nobody, not even people asking for matchmaking, actually want to just launch the raid and get stuck with five retards who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground.

What they want (or at least anyone sane) is a partyfinder. An optional part of the menu where you can set your criteria like what level, light level, class, etc you want and then get matched with those people outside of the activity that you then go into.

Yes there are LFG sites, yes there is a recruitment forum, but see that's the thing, any online game worth its salt has this system on top of the forums and LFGs, at the end of the day people just want an in-game option, its no different from people wanting a grimoire kiosk, or a menu page displaying their PVP/PVE stats.

So can we just agree that an optional in-game LFG tool would just make everything easier, or are you matchmaking denialist faggots too asspained to agree to even that much?

Stability does matter, even if you don't want to believe it. If this was like The First Curse, it wouldn't matter because you fire too slow.

This archetype does require some stability to use properly, and faster ones, say Water Star. A lack of super high range isn't that big of a deal because I would know better than to challenge someone who is too far away for it to be used properly.
