This wasn't a problem before though. Let me explain. I just got into playing MGO again last week after maybe 7 months of leaving it alone. I played Infiltrator with Lethal Aim 2. I could play Scout as Infiltrator if I felt like it, so I did often. I noticed my character could ascend so I did it. Now without Lethal Aim, I have to unload a clip and a half into someone to get a kill because a headshot is now out of the question with this shitty stability.

Why is MGSV so easy? You just have too much tech.

The run is practically silent, the dive can get you into cover too easily, Quiet is an aimbot, D-Doge is a walking radar. Multi-cqc can be triggered if the other enemy is 15 feet away.

The most gamebreaking thing in the game is silinced tranq rifles though.

Thinking of doing a Tranq pistol only run but i don't think it would make it anymore challenging really when the AI is dumber than a box of rocks. You can just tranq one guy then tranq the guy who goes to check up on that guy then tranq the third guy who goes to checkup on the other two guys and you can literally chain that forever.

Situational. I have a stun shotgun and a lethal sniper. If you're close I tend to use shotgun if they're far I use sniper. Only do either if you HAVE to. (Especially on sniper FOB's)

No hang on, my bad. If you are doing a player owned FOB and you get spotted with a high probability of the owner showing up then just abort or do as much damage (steal resources) as you can before jumping into the ocean.

If the defender shows up you will probably lose. The odds are against you.

I deploy with a grenade launcher because I only do events lol.

It was quite simple really
Assets\tpp\motherbase\script\EquipDevelopConstSetting.lua
in this file I fucked around a bit, trying to figure out how to add developable weapons so that I could use the UN-ARC with the wooden stock, but by copying and pasting at the start of the array(?) I caused it to fuck itself up and all the items in the development screen were glitched out, with lvl 1 guns out of the screen and shit appearing like the training rifle and some CS guns. This also reflected on the weapon selection list, since it allowed me to choose the training rifle (as in this wasn't a model/gun swap) among other stuff.
Right now I'm just changing the value at p01 to use the npc guns: I've replaced the lvl 1 UN-ARC with the CS variant, so whenever I select the lvl 1 UN-ARC I get the CS and so on. Of course by editing the other values you can change the icon, name and description, but I still don't know what most of the values do.
I guess that there's a way to make the guns appear in the selection list as well as in the RD screen, probably in one of those values
In the last few hours I've been fucking around switching guns and making the AM D114 into a bootleg Mk22 hush puppy.
I know that I wrote really badly, but if there's need for a better explanation go ahead and ask.

aha, I see. That's pretty nice, I tried something similar, but the game rejected me. I know what most values do, will upload that soon. RD screen depends on information from konami servers; when you launch the game, you receive the list of guns you can develop. Of course you can trick it by setting online-only flag to 0 (one of the last ones, cannot say for sure right now), and going offline, but game will fix it the moment you go online.

Yes it heavily depends on scenery it also heavily depends on shadows, lights (if light hits your ass during night you will be spotted very easily) and movement, meaning if you are on a ladder/stairs its basically useless because there is nothing to blend in to and you are moving anyway.

Funny enough, guards are incredibly blind if given the right circumstances, like almost physically connecting-blind.
