Demon's isle is the weakest lbg that rapid fires normal level 2.
The only thing it's used for is status.

The tigrex one or the V.Drome are both good for low rank, and gold rathian's is the best for normal.

Is hunters for hire performance affected by gear worn?

Say I have Jack as a hunter for hire cause I have his card. He uses a high level weapon and good gear.

If he now switches out to some noob armor and goes unarmed and I update his card by seeing him again, is his performance as a hunter for hire for me different than before?

Why is SnS the best weapon and the most fun ?
The only drawback is the lack of vertical range which sucks dick if you want to cut tails.
Otherwise it has good/great damage, a fucking shield, it destroys parts so fucking easily, and it even STUN monsters consistently with KO coating.
And you can finish a hunt by DRAGON PUNCHING the fucking monster to his death

In a group: you don't eat, you just farm 12/(# of players) coal and farcast back to base. pop them into the box 1 at a time and wait for everyone else to finish.

Solo: Do whatever you want, but make sure you are in an online/ local hall when you do the quest. I usually eat when solo since it puts you near the top of the volcano where the most nodes are

Got a god charm, and now using the Velociprey IG, speed bug 1, guild style with EH3 for the sweet 90 seconds of triple up and Frenzy Fever for even more crit, skills are Crit Eye +3, Crit Boost, Razor Sharp, Mind's Eye, Bludgeoner, I get 272 raw with demon drug and triple up, shame the sharpness modifier is only green, not sure if I'm getting 80 or 90% crit chance with Frenzy Fever up, is there any way I can improve this further?

GPing is for maintaining momentum. If you're in the middle of a sword attack and can't bring up your shield, GP; you can reposition by abusing the roundslash GP; the A charge's GP on Adept is fantastic for building charge, or just plain attacking.

And GPing doesn't transform you. R+X does. If you GP with the A charge, you'll continue doing the double slash. If you GP from a roundslash, you'll simply block it.

Piercing boomerang is THE absolute most necessary skill for Prowler, even more than Big Boomerangs. Seriously. The power boost it gives you is tremendous.

Just keep scouting cats until you get Big, Piercing, and Boomerang Pro on the same cat, it's pretty common. Then use that cat while you scout for one with the rest of the ideal set (Crit Up S, Earplug, Dungbomb, etc). Look at the guide in the pastebin for a full list.
