Timeline battles stopped being a thing the moment TP was released and it became stupidly evident there could only be 3 timelines. Hell the timeline was still stupidly obvious when before and after WW came out when it was still just 2 timelines, the only exception is LoZ/AoL could really fit fucking anywhere because there isn't much story to go on them at all.

No, the motivator is the Fused Shadows and Twilight Mirror. She just happens to be part of that as well. Hell Link gives a fuck more about Colin than he does Ilia and only because Colin gets kidnapped. TP Link doesn't really give a fuck about anybody honestly, he's just along for the ride. It's not like OoT Link and Saria where she is the only person he bothers trying to explain himself to, the only person he runs away crying from, and a very clear crush that Saria has on OoT Link to the point its almost pretty much stated.

You know what mechanic they should add to the Zelda games? Sleep deprivation. Link never sleeps in any other game during his adventures. When he does, it's just a thing to do to pass the time. Like the temperature gauge, there should be a sleep gauge to show how tired link is. So, I finally finished OoT.
As strange as it might sound, I played TP before OoT.
And oh boy.

OoT is so much better than TP it's not even funny.
Reading many opinions about TP, I expected a copypaste of OoT. And while I can see some resemblances, TP is much weaker.
OoT's dungeons are top notch. They are incredibly well designed. Every town is full of life and of secrets. The characters are ALL memorable, even the most insignificant NPC. The plot is simple yet poetic, it's almost a fairy tale. Hyrule Field is barren and yet every hill and every corner has something very atmospheric.
None of these things are applicable to TP. TP is a good game, mind you, but it doesn't hold a candle to OoT. OoT doesn't have the annoying Wolf gimmick, most importantly.

And I say this as someone that isn't blinded by nostalgia. I played TP first and finished OoT just today.

I remember when I beat OoT for the first time, the entire ending with Ganon had me hyped as hell, then came MM, the atmosphere was wonderful. So when WW came out I saved nothing but change, cashed it in, and bought the game at K-mart, it gave me a free strategy guide. I was so excited for the game with these new graphics that I immediately opened the strategy guide to see if Ganon would be returning, I saw his pic, a smile came across my face and I couldn't wait. I started the game up and there was this beautiful cartoon world laid before me, a striking cutscene with a pirate ship and the a large bird, and then my adventure was set. I was taken away from this loving little asian grandma, launched into a fortress, and then thrust out into the world. The fun little people of Windfall, the smoke and fire effects of Dragon Roost, the sparkles and 'fairies' of Forbidden Forest, the peahats on the sea even if they freaked me out, the cutscenes, the flow, WW Link's mannerisms and quirky little things he does, sailing across the ocean seeing sharks or cyclones, the bosses, the cutscenes. It all felt like a step forward that I honestly wasn't prepared for more so than I felt with OoT for me. Everything just flowed so well that it was wonderful. While I didn't like the Triforce Shard Fetch-quest largely, it gave me a break to explore these many quaint little islands, and then the end of the game came upon me. After a beautiful frozen Hyrule Castle, the Temples, here I was at Ganon's Tower was once. Rematches with the bosses were before me and then one of the best end scenes in the Zelda series, a remorseful Ganondorf, but still power hungry, a flooding backdrop, and this little Link that had gotten smacked around by Ganondorf the entire game, and the finale of it all.

WW is just a beautiful adventure to me. Other games do some things better, but WW is a fantastic package through & through.

I was thinking.
We know for sure Gerudo are mostly females. A man once in a while is born but it's very rare.
Also, so far all the Sheikah we saw are female. There are exceptions like BotW's old sheikah but they are mostly females.
Now, Gerudo are red haired. Sheikah are white haired. But there are also speculations about the interlopers being Sheikah traitors. And, go figure, they are red haired.
And after OoT, in all timelines, there are always less and less Sheikah AND Gerudo.

I don't think that's the case. The default race for everything is an uninteresting human with round ears. Gerudo are more human than they are anything else.

It is possible. Though it gets a little odd since Gerudo do still exist in the Child Timeline, they're just in a part of the desert you don't see in TP. I always assumed the Twili were just Sheikah that had orange hair due to the pigments and sky of the Twilight Realm messing with each other.

Though I suppose it is possible. If Veran is a Twili then she does have connections with Ganondorf as does Onox who is an Iron Knuckle, and as we saw with OoT, Iron Knuckles are encased Gerudo. Its possible Onox might have been one of the male Gerudo born in Downfall and forced to become an Iron Knuckle as to not go against his rule.

Who knows though, I really hope Hyrule Historia 2 actually has thought out lore and stuff and details some stuff, but I know it'll never happen, it'll just be more stuff on the games and their development with concept art because they don't want to take the time to think things through, like the timeline, while it makes sense largely, the FS/FSA games really hurt the timeline, the geography, and the timeline itself is weird because Child should be a branch from Adult not the other way around. I think they forgot how a timeline of events works, usually its straight down for what normally happens and then branches from there like a family tree or evolutionary tree.

What is interesting to note about Ganondorf's magic and the Twili though (assuming Veran is one), his magic allows them to exist within the Realm of Light, I assume thanks to the Triforce, so the Triforce is more than willing to allow the Interlopers/Twili back into Hyrule.
