So after finally having it downloaded and updated and trying it out with my seven day trial period, I'm not sure how to feel about this game.

The combat seems to have... potential. But the world just seems cluttered and weird to get into. Should I just quest and grind my way to max level and ignore lore? I've noticed that unlocking conversation depends on unlocking lore. While I enjoy having that stuff to some extent, I don't like having it tied to a main access to a section of the game as a lore-wall.

Also, not sure I'll like it once I get to higher levels.

Can anyone tell me how it changes or develops once I get to higher levels? Will the payoff be worth it?

I can't recommend this game for plot or lore. While it does have it, it's just not presented very well at all. As far as high level content goes, it's all pretty much the same as what you would've been doing already except you get daily quests you can do as well as boss scrolls/world bosses and then there's more emphasis on grinding to upgrade your gear.

If you got into the lifeskills side of things along with nodes/workers and general exploration then you'll find enough to make it worth the $30 pricetag. I find that the game is most enjoyable when you do a bit of everything but that's not for everyone.

Relic scrolls. You can get relic shards somewhat reliably from fishing so it might be good to make that your AFK activity. I think catfish are good to farm for shards as well.

Most quests just reward contribution exp so if you aren't planning on doing any worker stuff you don't really have to do them. I find having the contribution to invest into extra storage is really nice, but not needed.

No, you want a trade pack, and you don't want to be over 100% 'cause your speed affects distance traveled which ticks xp.

From my understanding, get yourself 1 cheap trade pack and just auto loop yourself in town. It's based on distance traveled with the trade pack on your back, so put on whatever movespeed bonuses you have and keep yourself as light as possible for fastest leveling. I recommend some Talis boots with a +2 movespeed crystal, that will give you +4 just off one piece of gear. Or go full Talis for the +5 movespeed.

Just strip and put all your gear on your wagon. I usually just save up all the things until I get around 1000 and then go out with a very light load and turn them in. Doesn't really make sense to do that when you are low level, but there will be a few places that you spend a lot of time in, farming or whatever. Works well when I want to play but have other things to do, just auto-run places for silver.
