You can have a positive winrate and stagnant rank because of how busted the matchmaking+rank algorithms are. You can lose 5 wins (against underdogs) worth of rank in 1 or 2 losses against numerically even teams. Even matches are the only ones that any meaningful effect on your rank, and depending on your luck they might be the very small minority of your matches depending on your rank and sample size. Your overall winrate is not very predictive of your rank change for this reason, what matters most is your win rate in matches with no underdog and that isn't shown.

I try to keep a positive outlook. The way I see it, the enemy team is just as good/bad as my own team. If someone on my team is doing badly, I don't think it's because they don't deserve to be there. They may be having a shitty day for personal reasons, or they may just not be putting their all into the game. So I consider my job to be not only about my characters skills, but also being able to make my team play their absolute best through bolstering their morale. That may take the form of being a team cheerleader, or of more of a leader roll where I have to call shots.
