Different colored wires that you can hide.
For example you placed a bunch of red wires and you can't see shit just hide them and start using blue ones. You could also use them to keep track of which part does what.

Racial guns anonfaggot here. I've been working on T2 and I'm just curious if anyone had any ideas for guns they'd like to see or ideas for how guns would advance in tiers because I'm starting to run out of ideas and I've got to make five more tiers please fucking kill me. Any ideas you all can throw my way would be welcome, otherwise this will be quite a slow going process. By the time I'm finished, there might be almost 100 guns.

Tier 1 is done and they'll be touched up and tweaked to look better before I put this up on the workshop. So far for Tier 2 I have Novakids finished. I think I'll have the graphics done in a few weeks - The worst part will be creating the files for these and giving them stats and recipes and making it fair and balanced.

Constant snowfall and no day makes what little light you do get really stand out. Floodlights with snow falling make the "derelict" base you're in really creepy. Smash in some of those red lights from the lunar base or the flickering LEDs for maximum abandoned snow lab.

That's me. I'm doing something much simpler, a cycling elevator system. Very similar to the one at the grand library mission. I would want to do all the cool ass dope elevators you're all making, but doing that on vanilla starbound, where chuckle dick didn't even THINK of making a macrochip to keep logic in one place along with the wiring system being the most barebones shit in the universe, I'm not going to stress myself making an elaborate elevator when I can do a cycling that works just as good for two destinations.

I had an idea for human guns.

All of their guns are from movies or games. Humans seem kind of spastic, ADD, and kinda corporate-loving and brainwashed a bit. What better way to get people to fight for you than to make the military just like their video games? You'd use the guns from Halo, Alien, etc.

I've redone my elevator since then, because the old one was a bit buggy.
This one uses less wires and it makes it a bit cleaner.
The downside is that it has "cooldown" before it can be used again because it would break.
In hindsight I could probably coonect two timers in the middle row to a Not-gate and replace the the Or-gates with And-gates with one input being the not gate the other being the buttons.
That way the user can't accidentally press the buttons during the cooldown period.

The Glitch are kind of stuck in the medieval ages though so a FAL doesn't seem like it'd be very fitting. Weapons cannibalized from the standard space age weapons would be kind of cool though. No, piping in starbound is very good and I'm glad I'm not the only one who considering doing that. You can make the septic tank look more septic by adding a single poo block in there, or adding a nuclear waste block. But as it is right now, everything looks logical and looks the way a water system would work. If you're going maximum realism then you're going to need three more boilers or your complex is gunna have hot water issues when everyone gets home and decides to take a bath at around the same time.

It bugs me how ships in starbound has both the main rear thrusters and a bunch of small thrusters on the bottom. Would make much more sense if they were all at the "back" or bottom.

Firing the bottom thrusters makes no sense if the ship is entering orbit around a planet. I could see them being used during a landing but no ships land in starbound.

There's Langys and there's BYOS and they're about the same. At this point they both seem a bit early exploration, use at your own peril. Chucklefish have done some weird shit to ships, particularly the SAIL console. BYOS you can use on an existing character though.

Rapid fire snipers are the best thougj, especially if you can get a common one with the explosive round. It does more damage than a rocket and travels at normal speeds when submerged.

after some testing i found it works better to also assign wire to the rail switch that goes the direction you want the button to send you. this is better represented by showing the 2nd floor instead of the 1st.

don't forget to wire up the sensors

Is there a way to increase the size of the placement reticle?
