New thread up so reposting.

Which would you all prefer for the Novakid T2 pistol? Top one is just the vanilla one with a wooden handle, bottom one is more drastically changed and modeled after the Deus Ex revolver.

I'm also going to start posting less often since it feels like I'm spamming, so people can discuss the game.
I'll keep posting if you want me to, though. I just want this mod to be good as a fuck you to Chucklefish - One guy could do what they couldn't with a whole fucking team and a million dollars.

I made the bottom one for shits and giggles one night as a concept. I'll add it in as a rare unique rather than in one of the tiers.

Here's the updated tungsten shotgun, too. I changed it to look more like a coach gun. I just didn't like how the revolver and shotgun were all just one solid gray color.

It'll more than likely be a two-handed pistol with an explosive shot secondary. It will also definitely be an end-tier unique weapon that rarely drops. I'll call it "Deus" so you can have that revolver + the Ex Machina as a stupid joke.

As for the T2 sniper, is this fine? Or would you all prefer an entirely new sniper rather than an "updated" version of the T1 sniper? I figured I could do it similar to the armor system. T2 is updated T1, then T3 is new weapons. T4 is updated T3, etc.

For T6 though (Solarium + Aegisalt) I can either continue to do it as above, or have it so that each race gets one gun of one type (Avians - Pistol, Novakid - Sniper, etc.) and that gun is a Legendary weapon. So it'd be like if Novakid's got to craft the Tesla Wrath, the Glitch got to craft the Ex Machina, etc. but they would be new legendaries.

Does that make sense?

If you want to be near-invincible just go to the vg base and pick up the invisible armor from the fossil donations box. The eyepatch gives you 310 energy/HP, 390% attack, 100% guard, and it negates all attacks and fall damage. Still figuring out how to make it immune to statuses and magma.

I made the scope so long because that's how scopes were on old repeater rifles. Do you all prefer the long scope or short scope? When I removed the scope it looked like a long-barreled coach gun and that's for next tier. :^)

Specific tenants can be acquired via placing certain furniture.

Frogg Furnishings will sell you Sea furniture which will get you diver, and Spooky furniture for Spooky character.

As for Bunker, grab stuff from a USCM Penal colony, and just keep ripping the colony deed off the wall until a Bunker personel shows up.

I can't tell you if it's good or not, but I use it and I masturbated to it. There's a bunch of the characters lined up on top of the settlements from when I was testing them and it makes me feel ashamed. Also they keep eating all my tenants.

From what I've seen, Crew Quarters are either "just a whole shitton of bunks with maybe a nice common area, or individual rooms. Considering that you have an Avian ship, I would suggest going with compact living quarters and a whole lot of nice common areas - dining rooms, maybe a dedicated library instead of some bookcases shoved underneath a stairwell, that sort of thing.

Oh yeah, and rebind the 'Q' key from drop to hotbar slot 6 and put healing and rope into that slot at all times. The 'Q' button will be your new panic button, press it when you fear for you life, rope to the top of the ceiling and heal, or just rope to the nearest wall to prevent fall damage. Best advice I can give you right there.

How the hell do you make things invincible to magma? I can spawn in armor that makes me invunerable, but magma still can apply the melting status to me, and you can't out-regen it because the damage per tic keeps getting bigger.

Dig down a bit to make a pit and then build a dome over them so there isn't as much water draining in when you dig a hole under them to dump them in the pit. Then fill the pit with explosives or magic or whatever.
