Speaking as a rank 60 shitter with 75% winrate on Symmetra, she does need a rework though.

I like the design of her main weapon and her turrets, but casting the turrets, their cooldown and the stack amount is too punishing and makes it hard to flexibly rearrange your hold of a point.

Her shields are actually sort of good in this McCree dominated meta since it fucks up his 1v1 capabilities, but they are a pain in the ass to use practically and aren't as rewarding as heals. Should probably be reworked (for instance, if Symmetra passively turned 50 of your HP into 50 shields instead this would help a team sustain a defense better even though their HP doesn't increase. Rather than a flat amount it could also be a percent of HP).

The teleporter is gimmicky shit and I usually just drop and forget it. There's literally no point in trying to protect your teleporter because if you do you just give up map presence. A complete rework (maybe some sort of very temporary structure that lets Symmetra reinforce at her position?) would be better.

Before the buff it was excusable because he was so easy to kill and you had some time before the orb got to you, now that his ult, hp and orb travel speed have been buffed it just makes him overpowered, it's basically a death sentence since it redouces your survivability by HALF and there is nothing you can do about it.

I don't even know how they can fix it. He just has no fucking skill ceiling, so once someone is great with him, he becomes unstoppable.

Genji is fucking bullshit right now, his deflect and M2 should be removed completely and be replaced by a passive reflect stance and his dragonblade since there is no reason why he shouldn't be able to use his sword at all times. His health should be half shields seeing as he's a cyborg and his E should be a blinding stun since his shurikens are inaccurate as fuck.

What if you gave her 8 turrets and a maximum stack of 4? What if you could place turrets at 15m range instead?

You can do tons with Symmetra to make her less boring to play. I mean, it's fun gunning down absolute idiots, but there's literally no cooldown management at all. I want her to be more interactive and be able to support more. I'd be fine if they nerfed M2 damage a bit in exchange.

Always block fire strikes, rein ult is game changing. Be aware. Know when to block attacks between a team mate caught out by a roadhog or reaper. Know when to disengage. Don't throw your ult trying to get a sick potg, keep it for the team fight so you can always have your mech. When pushing with rein, block large bursts to keep his shield up as long as possible. Chase down low health stragglers trying to run, but get back to your team as quickly as possible. Enjoy your win.

He's pretty good even without his team, but it's very much possible to shank that cunt right in the ass.
It's when he gets nano-boosted and/or speedboosted by Lucio and/or overshields and/or Zarya shields when it becomes fucking impossible to deal with that cunt.
On one hand, stacking ults should be strong. On the other hand, there's no counter but having Mercy revive everyone after they blew their shit, and THEN counter ult the fuck out of them.

Doesn't really do much. Turrets won't be able to protect a teleporter, you need people. But you can't protect it with people unless you put it on top of the point.

If instead of a single teleporter pad, you'd be able to throw several onetime ones like armor packs (basically every time you charge ult you get one destructible "telepack" to throw out) that would work better I think.

Still doesn't solve the problem of her being extremely niche though.

I'm not going to say much about Genji, but to be fair most burst damage in the game doesn't top McCree's with or without discord orb and if it does the cost is noticeably higher with more things keeping it in check. Zenny can be a solid healer, but again he's a compliment. If you have a Lucio already, pick him. Nice healing + melting faces is very nice.

As for Lucio, practice wall riding. Your job is to be annoying as fuck to the enemy while helping your team as much as possible. Jump around like you're literally on fire on the payload. Speed Boost is amazing, don't ever forget it. Knowing when to pop it will take practice, but after a while it becomes second nature.

Your power spike in Overwatch comes from your aim and use of abilities, all of which you have access to at the start of the game (except your ultimate).

Offense heroes and some tanks can carry games just by being the best at aiming.

This is in why in KOTH if the enemy team has a better Tracer or Genji than yours, you will most likely lose because of their incredibly high impact.

A good McCree will also decimate a game no matter what the mode.

started at 37, then got a huge wave of trolls, "it's just a game, I don't give a fuck" guys or "I have a main and refuse to play anything else" guys in comp, down to 33

but I didn't let that stop me, though there were times of rage, I keeped on being the better tank/healer, trying to bail out our DPS

At around 40 people suddenly start to get serious about the game, want to communicate and use the chat

be friendly, try to gently help your team and give them advice and try to always play your role appropriatly

If Genji reflects Reaper or Roadhog's ults into their headboxes and he's close enough, he can kill them before they finish. Pharah's is trickier, but still possible. Zarya's ult can be reflected back onto her team. He isn't as capable of eating ults as D.Va, but he can absolutely turn a potential teamwipe into losing only one or two teammates.

The movement speed slow when placing a 1hp 25dps turret adds insult to injury. Also compare the turret generation cooldown compared to Torb - Symmetra should get 6 turret charges instead of 3, or movement penalty reduced.

Let the microwave beam have a longer range, but give it damage falloff and nerf top DPS slightly.

Teleporter is just a crap ultimate compared to all the other support ults. Only situationally useful, it gets auto-called out by enemy team. Rework to be a 60-sec fixed duration, allow ult charge during teleport activation.

Pressing E is just spammy and brainless. Moreso, you can't see who has shields or not on HUD most of the time. Having to mouseover teammates and just spam E is annoying.

It's absolute meme that your teams are so bad that the entire game is on your back, the rarity of that scenario happening is low and probably you entirely overestimating your own game impact.

I'm sure you've been carried in plenty of games when you played sub-par and don't say a fucking word because of an ez rank gain.

Kill one or two enemies yourself while no one on your team dies and guess what? You've slanted the outcome of the game in your favour until they come back.

Someone like Roadhog - if you hook an enemy they will most likely die unless they're a tank who can get our or they have a Zarya watching them. You miss that hook you're vulnerable while it's down and the enemy team will start molesting you. Mistakes are very costly in this game, so the less you make the higher chance you have of winning.

the death blossom isn't countered any more by genji than a rein shield with someone shooting at the reaper from behind it, which they always do even in low ranks
