It's perfectly playable solo. Some classes will have a harder time beating the most difficult bosses on the highest difficulty (geomancer/beastmaster really don't have much going for them solo). If you like to beat up monsters for parts to build better gear to beat up monsters for parts it's fun.

Customization is clunky but fucking crazy once you get the hang of it. You'll end up mutating your spells through use, so you can end up with a Firaga that does extra Light damage and slows down the enemy while blinding them and reducing their defences, then reduces cast time into another spell. Physical/weapon skills do the same but can animation cancel into the next skill. Lots of potential rotations.

Are there any mage type earth skills currently in Mobius? I like my white mage, but this earth draw shit on the weapons it gives is kind of going to waste with no mage skills to make use of it since I deal more damage on wind enemies with water than with any earth abilities I've come across.

Can use Leo instead of Locke so you have Armor/Weapon Break and can help on bosses with tank, keep Fina to Cheer your Chorizo. If you care about stealing just craft it and give to Leo/Kefka.

You can level your Tellah to use instead of the second Kefka on bosses if needed so he can help with Cura + Raise and still deal some damage, if you don't need the extra support keep both Kefkas.

Even without dualcast, they're very close when using the same spell.

Golbez is like exdeath-lite without the MAG. He's only good because you've got a pretty good guarantee he'll have 6* in the future.
