With Hood coming soon it'd be possible reenact the career of Battleship Bismarck.

5 parts

Breaking out into the Atlantic:
KM: Bismarck and Prinz Eugen
RN: Hood and Prince of Wales

I know in fleet we have Bisko, Hipper, and KGV.
One of us will have to get Hood.

Hood gets BTFO and POW disengages.

Part 2: Chasing Bisko.

KM is still Bisko and Eugen.
RN is cruisers. RN cruisers shadow the Bisko and Eugen. No RN CAs or CLs yet so DDs will have to suffice.

Bisko continues course for a while before turning to engage the RN cruiser force. while the Cruisers are targeted Eugen escapes.
Cruisers pull out under a smoke screen.

Part 3: First Aerial attack
KM side is now only Bisko.
RN is HMS Victory, (Illustrious class)
since Illustrious is a t8 and nobody in fleet does Bong CVs we could either A: just use the biplanes from some other Bong CV and never show the CV itself, or B: find someone that does have Illustrious and have him help. That'd be nicer since it actually shows the bote itself, but I only know of one guy that is close to Illustrious.

TBs attack. Bisko fires at them, not a single plon is shot down, and only one torpedo hit is scored. Minimal Damage

Part 4:
RN side is now DDs, mostly Tribal class it seems, they shadow for a while before initiating torpedo attacks. Bisko returns fire, ORP Piorun charges Bisko, main guns blazing, No torpedo hits, no arty hits.
Nobody in fleet has Tribal class as far as I know though, so either bring in more outsiders (don't want that desu), or we use said Lafagoys.

Part 5: Final fight .
KM is only Bisko
Ark Royal launches Swordfish TBs, score a hit to the rear. Rodney (Nelson) and King George V finally catch up to Bisko and begin fire.
Bisko could be loaded up with HP and armor commanders while KGV and Rodney have none, to simulate the long drawn out pummeling of the Bisko. Bisko is sunk.

I think It'd make a nice vid to showcase Steel Ocean's great selection of botes, and such.

We just have to wait for bong cruisers and I'll start grinding it and Bisko, KGV and Nelson are aviable right now.
Also, besides using HE, some slight movements on the KGV/Nelson could lower the accuracy so less shots land and you get a more DRAMATIC effect, but I guess that can be discussed.

From the screenshot posted I think they actually did less damage, but the chance of detonating is higher. That thing where ships just pass between really narrow torp spreads won't work anymore since the torps will detonate right next to them and still deal damage.

Kongou-class was designed and built by by bongs. Dunno about QE but AFAIK the kongou sisters are the only relevant bong-born ships in kanColle. And of course, if you say bong boteslut I will think about Haruna.

Any suggestions for 5th DD/spotting cruiser commander? Kaspar, Arashi, Felix and Musel are set, so far I've been running Gerard Roope or MacMillan. It looks like the only options are Doolittle or Horton for 2% disguise, or that Italian anti-air guy for 150 spotting range. But their other abilities are kinda useless.

If you're learning the class you should try to elite the boat before advancing.
If you know the class but you're playing a different nation, it'd depend on your opinion on the boat.

Basically what the others said already.

The order depends on what ship you went.

BB's would usually want guns first so as to get faster XP, while DD might go Radar, Engines, guns. or whatever.

Getting your ship elited means you'll get bonus free XP when using it and train commanders faster. Quick training is 120% commander XP compared to 20% normal.

That said if you despise the ship you are playing, might not be worth bothering to elite it seeing as you dislike it and are better off burning through it to the next one usually.

If you mean matchmaking, there are ups and downs, but generally you'll find a match in less than 1 min at peak hours (unless you are queueing skycancer or subcancer).
If you mean gameplay and such, SO has deeper mechanics and is really more skill dependant unlike the heavy RNG mechanics of WoWs, so if you are bad and can't learn from your mistakes or can't take some tips to improve yourself, yeah it will be unplayable. Unless you git gud.

The game literally gives away tons of gold (real money currency ingame) and gold items. P2W is minimal, almost non-existant. The only things that could give you some advantage would be buying commanders with gold, which are a literal RNG Piñata of "fuck you"s. Said piñatas can be also be aquired via ingame daily, weekly and monthly events.

tl;dr SO is better in everything except graphics and playerbase to WoWs.
