I remember that being possible. Maybe that was in the alpha.
Or maybe I'm hallucinating and the screenshot just shows the elvation or rotation being broken, or badly out of sync.
The former used to happen rather often in WoT in certain patches, and this is the same engine afterall.
The latter was common in some alpha builds, you could literally not tell where somebody else was aiming when you were spectating because his turrets would point in random directions.

And then ther was that one build where you could actually shoot yourself, but that got fixed really fast.
