I'm not using an enb and this is my entire load order.

I removed the overlay on both the skse launcher on steam as well as TesV and when I tried to open the overlay in game it did not work so I'm pretty sure its off. Maybe its just the contrast I'll check.

I use a 1920x1080 screen, so I thought it would follow that I should make a cheese block 1K, since 1K = 1024x1024 and I don't ever expect a cheese to take up more than half my screen space

But it looks blurry and lacking detail when viewed close up, so what's the deal? Shitty re-texture, does the resolution thing work differently?

Also, anyone got a list of what resolution suits what? I know rocks are supposed to be the biggest, and clutter is smallest, but what's all inbetween that?

For performance you want to make objects that take up your screen space more often have LOWER resolution. This saves memory and stops stuttering/CTDs.

As far as I can tell the resolution of your game window has nothing to do with the quality of textures. A 1k cheese block in 1080p and 720p will be the same, only downscaled to fit the resolution. If you want to improve quality, download higher resolution textures, because Bethesdas default textures are shit for the most part.

There was a point where I stopped playing it for a while. I just got back into it not long ago, actually.

You know, I bust my ass making skyrim mods. I'll be damned if somebody calls me a fuckhead knowing full well I can't say anything back and still gets to use my work without consequence, because if I get banned, I can't upload files anymore, and any record of the success of the work(which is a nice little trophy for my wall) gets erased. If he gets banned, he essentially just loses the right to comment on files.

You're not a mod author. Your opinion of how things affect us is completely uninformed.

What is clear from our end is that the community is becoming increasingly toxic toward creators and the Nexus mods are doing their best to find a good compromise to keep us happy. Because every one of your favorite authors has gotten that one comment that makes them just seethe and has considered deleting everything and just using other people's work instead of making their own. We've all thought about it, and we talk about it on a regular basis.

If you want your "free speech" back(I look at it more as the ability to talk to the author directly, you DO have other places where you can review stuff where nobody can stop you), you need to convince the community to start being more respectful in general to mod authors. Because we can just stop modding. Lord knows my general temperament would be better if I didn't get called a dick 5 times every day by some random troll 2000 miles away, and if I quit then I wouldn't have to deal with that anymore. Then nobody wins.

You talk about the community needing to be able to trust the authors, but what you forget is that the community has long ago lost OUR trust. That's why the system was put in place. So we could honestly give a fuck about you trusting us.

they can be now created on demand.
fun stuff like independant limb movement and tweening between animations is now possible.

also it does not impact framerate in the slightest because it dosnt actually use papyrus.

the mod author did something incredibly clever.
instead of using skyrims script language he injects his code into the flashplayer running inside skyrim(ui in skyrim is done with a flash middleware called scaleform).
this has the advantage that it has its memory dynamically allocated and is not tied to skyrim at all. its also a lot faster because the script is not tied to framerate.

Ya, I watched a video recently on OSA, and I got the impression there was a 'scripted' option there as well. I don't know much about this aspect yet, but it looks pretty neat. I agree this aspect, if it's what I think it is, might be a big push to use it. I just haven't seen a good example of it yet myself. But I am at least slightly aware of it.

I'm not saying that 0sex and OSA are useless, they definitely offer some things that sexlab doesn't (and likely never will). I just don't know if it will get the attention it needs so late in the game, remastered is it's only hope imo, but some authors definitely seem to be taking a like to it, time will tell.

One of the biggest things I like about sexlab is that it's 'automated', you get bored of watching the scenes and just want them to happen (cause ya know people will get raped in this game), it's nice to just have it happen in a few seconds, without having to do anything about it and if OSA will give this feature, then it has my interest at least. Along with the ability to get more interactive at the same time, I can see why people are finding it interesting. I just haven't seen it do these things myself yet. (admittedly, I haven't used 0sex or OSA much myself yet, mostly just a glimpse at this point, found it rather boring and removed it, although I currently have OSA installed with the Poser Module, this is nice, but half my poser mods don't work with it).

One of the biggest reasons I like SexLab though are the little mods, stuff like Aroused Nips, it's not really sex related, it's minor, almost not even noticeable, but without Aroused, it wouldn't happen. 0sex needs to figure out how to connect to mods like Aroused so that these other mods will work.
