In other mmos, I usually play a tank or support/healer. In this game I can play those roles just fine. Roadhog, Mei, Mercy. Rein, and Lucio all click with me.

Characters like Soldier and Tracer are so difficult. During big team fights I lose health really fast. I either die, or I'm forced to retreat. I basically spend most of my time walking from spawn than fighting. I do tend to stay away from the team and flank, maybe that is why I'm no good with Zarya. :(

10 seconds to fully recharge 4 seconds of shield. It's not hard to do the math that this is not a magical shield that stays up all the time. It has to go down, and if she runs, then that's a tank off the frontline. Grats, you did it. It's more effective at taking large amounts of damage in a short timeframe compared to the more sustained coverage of rein's shield.

She's in a great place right now compared to where she was before, and both with and against her I really have no complaints. She actually has a role now that's not a cheaper, weaker tracer.

Strategies are different for each hero.
You generally want to avoid going face first against the whole other team without any sort of backup, and to move a lot on the characters that let you do that to avoid being killed off early.
Flankers (Tracer, Genji and Reaper to a certain extent) need to know exactly where all the medikits in the map are, as they need to stay behind the enemy lines, where supports can't actually reach them. They need to only pick off one hero at a time, starting from high priority targets.
Getting them by surprise also helps a lot.

McCree and Soldier need to stick around with their team, as they can't survive on their own for that much (unless you're against shitters that allow you to use multiple biotic fields before being killed off, if at all).
Soldier's E can be used to heal himself and all the allies that stand near him. It's a pretty good heal, but its cooldown makes it so that you can't rely on it at all times.
McCree's E can be used to either defend you from an incoming attack or to deny skills and ults.
Even if he is supposed to be an anti-flanker, unless you're godlike at aiming, you won't actually land any shots after his flashbangs on the characters he supposedly counters.

Pharah should be used strategically, as you can't just fly around and shoot things, expecting them not to react. She can use her E to force enemies out of position or to move out of danger. Sadly, she is raped by hitscan, so she does not have a very good survivability as of now.

I read that as "Rein on the enemy team"... because he's a big bully to Dva. Why is it that the game doesn't seem to let you boost away, when he's swinging his hammer on you? Good Rein players are extremely frustrating to a Dva main, such as myself.

People don't want to feel like they're only gambling their money away.

It's okay for Overwatch to have micro-transactions. That's not a problem. Also, the players aren't asking for everything to be free.

They would, however, prefer that there is another way besides pure rng to getting items. Especially in a time-sensitive event as this one, which is only once a year for a few days. The removal of usable credits or the lack of event credits makes Blizzard look greedy for people to buy more lootboxes.

The lootboxes would seem more fair for players if it at least included credits.
