Great Deep Soul is pretty great as a Faithful can just spam it like 20 times in a row with 24 ATT while the host is busy with some mobs or another player. From max lock-on range I can have about 3-4 flying towards a person, and most people can only dodge 1 or 2 before they start fucking up their rolls.

I get that. Even twinking like that I don't think it's fair. If the hosts decides to do nothing but summon phantoms and spam roll, there's very little you can do. Hosts who die are those who try to be a hero.

I just really want to not only kill hosts, but set a challenge to myself. You have no idea (you probably do) how hard is to win against a gank with that shitty weapon, I'm a Herald with base end and vig to wield that sword; But I still managed to do it a couple of times. Collected 15 medals today out of probably 50 invasions or so. Feels satisfying to pull it off.

Because you can't interrupt an ultra user, any player near them is safe whenever they attack. They basically prevent you from safely attacking any squad member near them. Plus, someone with a faster, better weapon can catch you to set up for them to hit you.

An ultra user makes gankquads a pain in the ass. 4 darkswords will easily lose to 1 cardcaptor, but 3 dark swords and a bk glaive is literally untouchable.

Part of what I love about DaS3 is how fast weapons, rolling, and R1 mashing tools all behave like they do in bloodborne, with incredibly fast startup, negligible recovery and minimal stamina costs, while slow, heavy and special attacks all behave like DaS2 and presume they'll be used in a context where the former doesn't exist.

Despite selling the game on Weapon Arts, unique special attacks that are moveset-defining to each weapon and class, DaS3 has the worst unique attacks in the entire series.

The Wolf Knight GS seems pretty weird. I was using it in a fightclub the other day and would go entire fights HA trading against halberds and never have my poise broken. Form some reason, almost every time I traded R1s with another HA weapon, I would interrupt their HA.

There's probably more to it than that modifier suggests.

Saw cleaver is the weapon used to speedrun the game, it's the most efficient and highest DPS pve steamroll stick in the game.

If you feel like you're not dealing enough damage, it's because you're stuck in the dark souls mindset. Most bosses have a blindspot in most of their flailing nonsense. Get into their blindspot and mash R1 mindlessly like it's dark souls 3 pvp. Even if you're getting hit, chug vials and continue to aggressively spam R1.

BNosses have a lot of Hp because they're balanced around the absurdly high DPS of the game and the fact that bosses give you a hundred years to mash on them while they're flailing in the wrong direction.

However, thanks to that ridiculously high DPS and the fact that you have 20 insanely fast heals, you can treat most bosses like damage races and facetank them.

It's alright. If you upgrade it it can be a good source of ranged DPS that doesn't require bloodtinge.

You can use it to harass in pvp but it doesn't generally generate much ranged pressure so people don't bother.
