That's really not that hard if you've been playing regularly over the past ~3 weeks. I probably could have gotten to 33 by now if I had kept playing. And level 30-33 walker accounts are pretty common now, especially if they bought lucky eggs.

It's after 33 that the xp requirements for leveling become insane. I'd be suspicious of anyone who is level 35 and up of spoofing or using a bot.

There is little to no correlation between the environment and the pokemon that spawn.
I've gone into the mountains where there were still pokestops and I could get cell coverage, and I did not run into any ground or rock pokemon at all, while the only geodudes that I've caught have been downtown with every other pokemon.

That's all superstition. There is minor variation between which areas have which shitmon infestation, but that's as far as I can tell.
My town, dare I say my region is maybe a 100 mile radius at least, is rotten with Drowzees, and that's not universal for all players.
