In legion to have better stat allocation you have to have better ilvl, which means doing Mythic+ dungeons or raiding

(stat allocation is the way pvp gear will work in legion whereby, everybody has the same stats, but if you have more ilvl you will get slightly more stats. Everyone will start with a base ilvl of 820 or something and as you go higher ilvl you'll get slightly more stam/main att/second att as your ilvl increases)

Most people have 700/700 crafting professions from their garrison, Legion mats will probably be very lucrative the first chunk of time.

Right now there's not a lot of gold to be made in crafting since welfare gear is very easy to get and 700+ ilevel. Transmog stuff is selling like hotcakes but that's because everyone's collecting appearances.

No real reason to play till the 9th.

30% increased damage taken (20 with warpaint) basically means that Fury is a no go for any kind of competitive pvp. Giving your opponents a damage boost that large is a big deal. This would be ok in any other expansion since you could just switch to Arms (Arms was usually the pvp spec with Fury being pve anyway) but thanks to artifacts, it's just a massive chore.

I wouldn't be surprised if Warpaint completely removes the damage taken from enrage at some point after they realize that Fury is completely nonviable for arenas.

I don't enjoy pvp, but even if I did, I'd refuse to participate on principle because pvp, arena in particular, is the single solitary reason why classes are as homogenized as they are today. If WoW becomes good again, I'm more likely to become God of Universe Gamma than that ever happening the casual audience won't like it, Blizz goes bankrupt and starts sucking actual literal dick, and the game dies out.
