In my last playthrough I made her a shuriken user with a bunch of Seal abilities to scout ahead and gimp enemies' stats.
Her bulk sort of helped since she'd take little to no damage after.
She wasn't spectacular but it was nice to have a sturdy unit able to cripple stronger enemies.
