So if we were to assume that every Nintendo franchise is connected in some way. Metroid, F-Zero, and Star Fox all being in Space. Mario and Link being on the same planet due to similar creatures spread across the planet, and so on.

Does that make her Farore? She has the green hair, the golden armor (golden goddess), deals with the Sky, a very similar thing to Farore's Symbol (albeit thats stretching it on my part), a bird like symbol behind her (only in smash I believe though), and has cocklust for Link (also only in Smash).

If the Nintendo universes were connected, would you guys be fine with Palutena being Farore and Farore is just the name Hylians gave her?

Depends on who you ask. I love all the Zelda games myself, that includes SS. So I'll give you how I feel about the game personally.

+Story, it has a very good story with some good characters spread about and really pulls you into some moments in regards to how Link feels and has some powerful scenes in the series.
+Aesthetic, the water color aesthetic is beautiful and really fits in the Zelda universe quite well.
+Dungeons/Bosses, the dungeons and bosses are largely some of the best in the series honestly. 1-2 bosses are very poorly designed, but overall most of them feel amazing to actual conquer and get through.

-The Flame Sneaking sections can be a bit of a pain as they go on. I personally like them, but they are flawed and can be frustrating for someone playing it the first time.
-Motion Plus+, while an interesting thing and it does work, it can very easily be circumvented in quite a lot of places by just waggling wildly.
-Fi, while I personally like Fi, she can be a bit of an annoyance and doesn't have anywhere near as much character as Midna or Linebeck for instance.
-Areas, areas aren't as entirely diverse as past Zeldas and are revisted, just with slightly different parts you couldn't get to before. With the exception of the first area that does change quite a bit, the latter two do not change nearly as much to warrant going through them again.

The cons I listed are all personal things that a variety of people have had complaints on. While they don't personally bother me, I felt I should add them as a con as I can see how they would frustrate or annoy people. I think the game really does shine in a lot of places though and is definitely worth a playthrough. The intro/tutorial of the game can be quite long and annoying though for some people, again, doesn't bother me, but its something to be aware of it you don't like it upon first impressions.

It's ridiculously varied. On one hand the story is probably one of my favorites out of Legend of Zelda. I'd never felt more invested in any of the games, to the point where Impa telling me off at Eldin actually insulted me. The characters were good too, Groose grew on me a lot and Zelda was likable, Lord Ghirahim was a great villain although Demise was disappointing.
On the other hand actually playing the game could be such a pain in the ass. The fetch quests and escorts and the things that get repeated over and over were so annoying that sometimes it felt like a chore to play. Then there were the times where playing the game was fucking awesome like most of the big fights and every Lanayru stage.
The music was great too, very cheery to match the game's tone.

Well, it's not the reason I play either, but you can't deny Zelda soundtracks have gotten pretty iconic at this point. Since Ocarina of Time (some would argue even earlier), the series has had highly memorable tracks in each major console release, from Gerudo Valley to Molgera to Ballad of the Goddess even if it's just a Zelda's Lullaby reskin.

And music has played a major part throughout the series. For them to choose to deliberately downplay the music in the newest game makes me worry BotW could feel incomplete, like it's just shy of being a true Zelda experience.

I'm worried they'll put so much effort into the open world exploration and "freedom to do whatever" that they'll make the story simple enough that it's not compelling and the dungeons (and I'm borrowing what another Anon said here) without any real progression in difficulty so that you can complete them in any order you want, like ALBW's Lorule Dungeons.

I like that ramping difficulty, actually NEEDING all the skills I've learned in the game up to that point makes me feel like I'm making real progress. And I love the stories in Zelda, they're what pull me into the games so intently. If BotW doesn't have those, it'll still be a good game, but it won't be a masterpiece like it could be.

So I just finished Phantom Hourglass and I really enjoyed it, was a great game. That ending was sweet, I teared up. Linebeck was a bro.. Most of the game was quite relaxing and soothing, and I particularly liked the humor and dynamics between Link, Linebeck and Ciela. I'm hype for Spirit Tracks now.

Now the things I didn't like or thought could've been improved :
* Money in this game was a joke as you can quickly sell your treasures and extra ship parts for absurd amounts of money. I hit 9999 right when the shop opened. I was always sitting with 7k rupees and probably 15 to 20k rupees in reserve most of the game.

* The game was really easy, probably the easiest Zelda out of all the ones I've played. I supposed it could be explained by the fact that they did not want to make it too hard considering the stylus-based gameplay was something new for everyone with this title.

* Extra quests are in the end a little underwhelming as hunting treasures only get you... money you don't need. Collecting ship parts is okay but not the most exciting thing ever, especially once you manage to get a full ship set you like. The Neptoona catching thing is pure RNG and is just not fun at all, it's terrible.

No, used in the context that its used, that sentence actually should be translated as Goblin, not Monster, because that particular structure can be translated a variety of ways depending on the context it is used. While monster is a fine translation too, Goblin also fits just fine, which is what they went with when they translated it as Imp.

I had some ideas, that I put a shameful amount of thought into.
Midna is the queen, but not really a main character as much as she is used in some cut scenes.
The protagonist would be a pair of Twili children. One boy, and the princess Zelda.
They ride around town on his scooter.
The city layout is a large wheel, so heading "up" always leads to the park in the center of town.
There are some farm islands floating outside of town a ways.

Game opens, the boy and his parents are discussing the festival of the dawn. Once every 15 years, the kingdom receives a full two minutes of as sliver of sunlight. People are looking forward to enjoying it through the new city sunscreen, which runs on "sol power". Stuff happens, and the boy finds out that someone is looting sols from the street corners, leaving whole city blocks in a blackout. The kingdom isn't taking it especially seriously because very few have vanished so far. The princess thinks something bad is about to happen, and wants to solve it, but she needs a ride. The boy is willing to let the princess ride on the back of his scooter, since she is able to functionally substitute for the sol that powered it before being stolen. They basically function as a pair with one following the other around constantly. At some point Midna finds out they are questing, considers the playtime to be "cute", and gifts the boy with a green tunic. She tells him about a legend about a hero in green, which kinda goes to the boys head. Later when things have gotten serious, she tries to get the children to leave well enough along and go home to find a shady cupboard to wait out the dawn, but of course they are too invested to simply obey.

TP2 would not change the tone of the first game by a lot. They could easily pull a MM after BotW by reusing a lot of the assets and making a TP sequel set shortly after the first game. Just retool the lightning and textures to fit with the style of TP

It would just be a spin-off anon for fun times. We could still get a TP game with the Hero of Twilight searching for a way to fix the mirror and then another one bridging those two ideas with the little Link and the middle aged Hero of Twilight going to find Midna.

We discuss things as well. Sometimes people flip their shit about headcanon or other such nonsense, but we do discuss things.There have been loads of theory, an anon did an entire pastebin on Sheikah stuff (still not sure why that isn't in the OP), anons play through the games and dump screens for us, etc.

We do a lot of stuff really, its rather varied, its just rather dead once it starts hitting these hours and into the early European hours, so usually we just discuss random shit at that point, mostly waifus at that venture or arguing.
