Hey I’m that guy. I find his Ult drives the enemies into a panic. The enemy squishies go into hiding, the enemy tanks shield up, and high mobility characters quickly reposition.

They hear “IT’S HIGH NOON” and first look forward since that’s where their enemies are. If you’re not there they turn 180 and look up. The trick is to be behind them, but in cover. Start your Ult, wait a second, and then walk out of cover. This confuses the fuck out of them.

Never use it when you’re alone. Use it when you’re behind their team and your team is engaging them in combat. Confusion is your ally.

If you can only kill 1 or 2 that’s fine. The quad will come if you continue to hone your Deadeye skills.

Throw it out any time there's more than 1 squishy on your screen. You can delete them in like 2 fucking seconds. Don't get greedy and try for the Roadhog or Winston, just remove squishy before they can do anything about it.

It's great if you can get behind them and shit, too, but McCree's ult isn't good enough to warrant holding onto it for 5 minutes trying to find the perfect miracle scenario where you can get 4+ kills.

Advice I wish someone had told me when I first bought the game:

Start with the easy/boring: Reinhardt, Lucio, Dva

When you get a little bit of confidence: S76, Reaper, Roadhog

When you get your aim and map awareness down: Zenyatta, McCree

Hard Mode: Gengi, Tracer, Ana, Zarya

If you start out with shitter, useless heroes like Mei, Junkrat, Bastion, Widow, Torb, etc. it give you a false sense of confidence that you're better at the game than you actually are. If you learn with the most essential heroes first, even if you're not the best at the game, you're still an asset to the team.
