A slow ass ADS time is detrimental when trying to use peeker advantage, and the only slow ROF LMG is Fuze's, IQ's has the fastest ROF at 880 than the rest of her guns, and I'm not sure about the ROF of the M249 but it seemed to be at a similar rate.

Not him, but yeah, "meh" is accurate. The shotgun is nothing new after Frost and Valk, and her abilities are entirely reliant on the map to be useful. She's going to have trouble roaming and catching someone alone on Plane or Yacht, but it should be easier on Bank or Consulate. The DNBO interrogate mechanic is also trickier to pull off than thought, and the pistol isn't stellar.

That sounds very familiar to me. The pistol and the interrogation are honestly just "win more" abilities, unlike frost traps and valk cams that can actually decide the game.

The rumbling about thermal scopes or goggles for an operator could honestly happen now for a defender as some kind of counter to Captiao's smoke. Not as a main ability of course, but like the three gifts Caveira has to aid her roaming. Some kind of armor 3 defender who has three little things to aid his defending.

Thermal to deal with smoke, some kind of ballistic facemask that absorbs one (1) headshot, and maybe something against concussion/stun grenades or explosive damage.

This game definitely isn't dropping off any time soon, especially after The Division (the game that Ubi was basically riding on) has crashed. I'd say we'll be fine until Wildlands comes out.

Caviar honestly seems incredibly underwhelming so far, I thought she was gonna be a complete terror. She only really works against total shitters and even then, I don't see much point in bringing her over Frost or Valk. Her silent step is neat and probably the one thing she has over Frost/Valk. Interrogate suffers the same problem Doc has, and that is how DBNO is pretty rare and the person rarely stays DBNO for very long. Not to mention you have to catch somebody alone, so it's only going to work against people who split from the team, and even then the team can show up and fuck you in the middle of an interrogation. Shotgun is ok, just a better SASG, but it's no release Super 90.

Capitao on the other hand seemed underwhelming at first, but I'm having a blast playing him. Solid weapons, frag grenades, long range area denial and a safer way to flush people out of cover. He's easily the most fun I've had on attack in a long time.
