good defenders don't have a lot of trouble against Elaine, my Chitose is usually fine and my backline has killed Elaines often, if you can act fast enough then you can kill her easily

It's not overkill right now because crit resist is too easy to stack and stacking it is too potent. Crit resist needs the car treatment; it should be harder to get, existing abilities with it should have values nerfed, and all goalkeeper units should have a 10% chance to be crit regardless of how much crit resist they have.

We've been in a crit resist meta since Nerua was first released over a year ago, unless they change how it works we'll be stuck in it forever and it'll only get worse as power creep sets in and the arms race between GKs and strikers gets even more retarded than it already is.

Higher pass value, pass crit damage, and "faster" doesn't really do anything when your striker can't even crit properly.

Unlike Sharr the broken reddit striker, Shura + Elaine gives a whooping 130% crit rate which is higher than any other combinations. And Elaine can counter attack any non 90% CAR units. CAR of which was nerfed.

Beatrice is hurting a bit right now since she was struggling for crit rate already and lost even more from the spirit stone nerf. She also gains nothign at level 70 besides a bit of speed.

WW/Ardor needs elaine up front and victoria in mid to have even a fighting chance, but most WW players switched to silk ace and went WW/Dark.

What's the best monothunder backline at the moment? The one I'm using doesn't work half the time against teams with around the same TA.

Newbie here. I want to understand how do you guys simply change an entire team so easily. I mean, it takes months to fully superb and +160 a single character, and some guys just say "this character is not top tier anymore, I'm gonna use another". Are all those guys whales?
I have a Hiro full maxed and I just got a Sharr from draw, and even knowing that she's better than him, I can't just throw a fully invested character away and have all the resources at hand to max another one on the go.

Yes but back line real estate is hot. I use her as my flex when I don't need magnus. Heal on hit is strong mitigation after the first shot. When she passes to meta they outdo my healer just by stalling.
