I've gotten used to 4chan. I even find some of the lingo funny now. I lurk in a ton of threads and actually enjoy them. But this term is bothering me to the point I'm willing to be flamed to say something about it.

"Janny" is a slur. Period. In my view it is every bit as bad as the N-word. And yet I see it used all the time in /d2g/ and other boards including by some posters I otherwise respect and enjoy interacting with.

I know what the response to this will be. "It's 4chan, what do you expect", for one. I don't accept this. Inane is fine. Hateful is not. I've got no problem with taking shit and even a little bit of banter from time to time - basically, stuff happens. I just think that we can do this without crossing the line to hate speech. I was actually very proud of our community that "weeb" has largely replaced "animefaggot", even more so because people have turned it into something funny. I hope we can do something similar here.

Slurs based on race, gender, nationality, or salary have no place anywhere, including in our community. I hope that our moderators and janitors will join me in deleting and banning for use of this and similar terms. Thanks for reading..

Combining the two passives into one is a good idea, the new passive is shit, Sniper already has amazing high ground defence.

Give him an ability that is a pseudo escape/attack buff. Maybe like a:

I think his stats are fine (except for his abysmal agi gain). The two passives are both unremarkable enough to have as separate abilities, which is why he should have a new active. One that plays off of Sniper's "hunter motif.

In Sniper's lore, he was able to shoot something in the eye from super far away, so maybe they could make that into an ability. Fucker just shoots you in the eye, either giving you 50% reduced chance to hit or reducing your vision range to half of what it would be, giving him time to run away and reposition. That's not a permanent option during matches. Any click on the mini-map removes the follow. Turning the camera to a 'lock' makes it so I can't middle mouse pan or click on the map without unlocking the camera first.

Help me with my decision making.

So let's say I'm Bane mid, I'm laning against a Sniper or a PA or something. Skipped Nightmare in lane to have high Brain Sap and Enfeeble to shut down my opponent.
Bot isn't doing great and is calling for help. If I leave lane my opponent will get last hits where in right now they're getting none. I don't think top is going to do it. The bot enemy heroes aren't as snowbally as mid.

What do I do?

easy sniper fix:

combine headshot and take aim

new active:

sharp eye

gives sniper a temperary buff to his attacks (like winter wyvern's arctic burn)

and when he hits an enemy it reduces their vision to 200 for 1 second.

Aghs upgrade:

Makes his ult like stifling dagger. It does the magic damage AND his attack damage as well.

What if Sniper had a trickshot ability. He'd be able to use it while moving and without interrupting his movement, like Rocket Barrage. It'd have a relatively low cd and would apply on hit effects. So if you had a basher or S&Y you could use it while running away and try to slow them down if you proced anything.
Its pretty much a weaker PA dagger with more utility power.
