The franchise, while fantastic, is primarily sci-fi in nature:

Console fags buy a xim4. It is so much better than a controller. Takes a while to get used to, but I seriously went from shit accuracy to fairly decent in 3 matches and an hour with bots.

Because from what we've seen Widowmaker's feats are far more impressive, no to mention she was actually successful in her mission unlike Reaper. For example, she has very fast reflexes and managed to destroy Tracer's bomb mid air. Unlike the game, she also can hold her own in close range combat and seems to be well versed in acrobatics.

I just started playing competitive, first round just about to win, everybody disconnects, I stay in the game for a while and suddenly it throws me to the menu
There is no rejoin button or anything, it's like the match never existed

I swear to fucking god if this lowers my rank, I am fucking sick of this
Yesterday I lost a game because of mass disconnection, everybody else in my team disconnected, I was the only one who ran to defend the point, enemies just normally attacked while I tried to defend the point alone.

so i tried lowering my sensitivity to 8 and i felt that i CAN shoot more accurate but holy hell it's heavy

I never got this mentality, maybe I'm just on a different wavelength. It seems most people think having a draw results in both players losing. Why can't it be the other way around? Why can't draws also mean both players winning? Just reward both teams instead of punishing them. You're going to punish your playerbase just because they played so well that the other team couldn't roflstomp them? What is that teaching people? That until you're 'better' than someone else, you're not a winner? It's like everyone looks at the glass half empty instead of half full.

From a game that prides on its progressiveness regarding race and sex representation, it's still supporting the idea of haves and have nots. What happened to bringing players closer together? How is fostering toxic atmosphere moving forward? Seems like a step backwards to me.

Instead of feeling "oh man, that was a good game, you guys really got your team together during that overtime, good hustle," and then looking forward to the rewards end of match, instead you're feeling "Oh **** you guys, my team should have won that, now I didn't get anything for all that effort even with my play of the game as Widow. **** you, all of you suck."

That's not the direction Overwatch needs to go.

Even if this game is already a super-hugbox simulator there needs to be a winner or loser.

Finally reached rank 70 solo.. and for those who struggle with aiming issues, please don't. If you are struggling with aiming and blame it for playing bad, you won't get anywhere

My aim is laughably bad, to the point that i can't kill a stationary Widow when i flanked her as Tracer, but objective play wins games, kills don't.

It took me a really long time to realize that after i played S76 one day and stuck myself to the payload the whole match, watching for flankers and top up my teammates with healing, didn't rush anyone and stayed back instead of snowballing with only 2 other teammates

Point is, stop blaming your aiming for bad plays, this game is very forgiving in that regard if you just take a breather and try to play well instead

I've just started playing Genji today and demolished most Reapers and Tracers.

Deflecting at the right moment fucks up their day, add 1-2 volleys of right click, shift and you're done.


I get now why some people absolutely demolish enemy teams with Genji. Worst case scenario you chill in the back, charge your ult sniping people, finis off stragglers and proceed to wipe the enemy team.

No idea if I would nerv him though.

It's the fact that objectively offensive heroes are better at everything compared to defense heroes.

My guess is that someone has changed with the placements lately. The mmr gains/loss in general seem a lot more forgiving. I've managed to pull back1 16 ranks since Friday. I'm now nearly back where I started yay me.
