I need to buy a super car for racing, and my problem is that I don't know which one I should save for, because 2+ mil is not something I see myself grinding out in short time.

if I just test the stock versions of the cars, is this a good enough impression of how the cars will handle later with all upgrades? so far I'm enjoying the ETR1, but most people are getting the RE-7B and I'm not sure about investing all of grindtime into a potential fluke.

But to be sincere 100% I came up with an solution in case we would die to save time - but we didn't have to use it.

Each of us keybinded an script that would disable the network adapter in case one would die - if you actually disconnect fast enough it won't save as a failure and you can start the mission again without ending mastermind.

I haven't checked the video - but I guess it might talk about the same thing, it should work.

Literally just unplug your PC/console. I just hit the reset switch on my PC when someone died twice, kept my progress while another player that pulled their Ethernet lost his. I think it still manages to sync up when you reconnect.

Just cut power to be sure, the time it takes to restart is not nearly as bad as having to redo the whole fucking list of heists up to where it happened.

I just got passive toggled and I forgot how fucking fast it was.

I thought I was ready for it but when they toggled they ran around in a circle until they could kill me while I mashed melee and nothing happened. There needs to be a longer window when shutting down passive mode where the person dropping passive can be killed but can't attack, and it needs to be more obvious to people near them that they're dropping passive.

This game is just straight up pay to win at this point. And they do it on purpose. If I was in charge of the next update, I would release even faster supercars that all cost 4-5 million dollars. Then I would release a bike that goes faster than the bati for about 3 million dollars. And after that I would release 6 sports cars that all cost 2-3 million dollars. Then I would add 12 car garages for 10 million each that increase your utility charge to 4000 dollars for each one you own.

Almost all of the stunt races are best raced in the new vehicles. I just played canyons and had an RE-7b zoom ahead of me like it was nothing. And good luck avoiding customs, you may pretend GTA is a racing utopia, but it fucking just isnt. You have to go way out of your way to avoid shit like this. Joining a racing crew and organizing events is inconvenient as hell + rockstar could do that work for us but they prefer pay 2 win bullshit. And its easier to just play another game.

Rockstar are not dumb, they are very, very aware of this. They fix money glitches within the day of them being discovered. They even made a balanced game at release, they know their vehicles to the decimal point.

Take the akuma in a circle for once in your life, then hop on a bati or a double t. Akuma skids all over the place. Want to see something really funny? Try racing the akuma on "over the bride" and watch it skid out on every turn. when going through the industrial street section.

I've only had that happen to me at the beginning of races. You can tell when it happens because the timer and position you're in won't show up on the bottom right corner. It's so satisfying to stop inside of the checkpoint whilst everyone just keeps going and then finish the race with a comfortable gap over 2nd place

Nah mate, while I -was- in a racing crew, these were tracks you could get off a random job from your phone deal.
Rockstar used to do this thing where they'd take the most upvoted maps made by the community and play through them themselves, and if they thought it passed whatever fucking "quality control" they had (generally just slap a clever name on it and make it possible to finish) it got a little "Rockstar Verified" deal and was added to the Jobs list.
I still have this one saved, I need to get off my ass and remake it and unlock classes other than sports/super and add the new cars to the listing (literally uses vanilla no-dlc cars with customs off), maybe add laps.
It's a fun little 9-12 minute highway carve.
