why is it called a "12 hour challenge" and not a "24 hour challenge"? 24 hours makes more sense because you pick one day to speedrun and then you are done. where as 12 hours is very arbitrary. if you go over 12 hours you get called a sellout looking for extra exposure from the 12 hour challenge coverage team. a 24 hour challenge is much better. a play any time you want event is better and doesn't isolate different areas of the world.

- SRL and SRC must guarantee equal representation at the top of their stream lists. They cannot hide behind the pretense of simply listing channels by viewer count.
- To combat the gross underrepresentation of minorities in world records, times will temporarily be reduced by
15% if you are black
5% if you are Asian
10% if you are other non-white
10% if you are a cisgender woman
20% if you are trans
10% if you are disabled, 20% if it affects your gaming ability
1% for each 10kg over your "optimal BMI"
5% if you are gay

15% for all other non-straight identifications
