That said, while Christianity and organized religion really damaged a lot of societies in the past, in modern day aside from some social tensions it causes, I'd say it causes a higher net benefit for society than negative, many friendly people, church encourages family values, and missionaries have done wonders for shit like Haiti and the poorer portions of Jamaica.
