You'll need to expand your material and unit inventory a bit, and I'd say use some to expand your friend list some too.

Other than that, save for 11x Summon Ticket packs, but don't actually buy any unless you're planning on summoning right then. No need to spend all your lapis right away if you don't need to.

In case some of you don't know, this is worth noting, the armor/weapon recipes you get in BE from events aren't one-time use, they will always stay in your recipe list so it's only the matter of getting enough materials to craft the same thing x ammount of times, granted, future events will only give you one of certain event-eclusive material, but there have been cases where they send another copy of these as the event went on, so if possible get more than one of the Gravity rods, since being able to give gravity to multiple mages in your team is pretty fucking great

Not Faris related, but still quite cool. Now that I've got Ghido's Whisker and Moore Branch, Exdeath is a pretty cool fellow - though it feels hard to fit these soulbreaks that I want to use one after the other in with Momento Mori - Dark Zone, because doom countdown.

Does Dark Zone have much weight to it without Momento Mori?

Now I actually feel better about my chances vs the Demon Chimera if I can forge a Hero Ring for Exdeath and make a Drain for him. At least with his insane Mag I can make drain somewhat effective in damaging the Demon Chimera and not have to Cura spam for just him.

Though I wonder what is the best grounds to farm for the Ice Megacrysts? I just opened the Kolokos Marsh exploration and I feel that may be the best spot. I'm hoping for a good to decent banner to roll on given I now have 7 tickets to burn for a roll.

The new maps have 5 collection spots instead of 3, but the spots drop less items so I think it evens out in the end. The new maps do have a better exp/energy so if you also need to level your units I'd go for them.

Dang. I am grinding for Ice Megacrysts and I still haven't gotten one in a while despite the 5 draw points in Kolobos Swamp. I have the Primevil quest to finish to get Exdeath Drain for the Devil Chimera. Once he gets Drain and a Hero Ring, he'll be all set for the Chimera and I can take it on with Rain/Lass/Fina/Cecil/Exdeath with a couple of Hero Rings and likely maxed out levels from grinding out for the Hero Ring mats.

At least Shiva is getting fat off the levels I get from the various Violet Magi/Megacite I collect along the way.

Oh, yeah. I get that. It's just a weird set up of characters. Everyone - save Seifer - treats him like he's the coolest cat to walk into town. And he is, kind of. He's incredibly aloof and mysterious, which leads everyone to believe he's too cool for school. We, however, know he's just an antisocial dweeb with no communication skills. Quistis seems to be on the secret, but everyone else is fooled.

What bothers me is that while Squall's aloofness may lead people to believe he's cool, it won't last forever. Surely after a weeks people would catch onto the fact that he's not actually cool and he really is just terrible at talking to people/prefers to be alone. That, or at the very least everyone would become alienated by him and basically stop paying him any attention. Either way, they'd just leave him alone and let him go off by himself, which is fine because it's probably what he prefers anyway.

The fact that he's supposedly kept up this facade for years, even if by accident, is just too farfetched. I mean, this is almost literally Stephanie Myers level writing of bad. Bella was a shithead and no one would ever want to be around her in real life no matter how much Myers would like to believe that people flock to that behavior in real life.

Going past that video, though, I mean that whole sequence is awkward. The whole thing where Rinoa tries fake hypnotism on him is pretty cringy. I'm not even going to pick at the fact that Squall starts line dancing with the rest perfectly after stepping on Rinoa's feet once or twice. I'll let that slide due to movie magic.

Probably, but they have a massive market for mobile games. Most people probably play quite a few games, so connecting them keeps them relevant and strengthens the players ties to the games. Been thinking about replaying 7, 8 and 9.

Tbqh though I'm going to avoid 7 as it's really overplayed and quite frankly overrated.

It's between 8 and 9, although I am severely disappointed that with 8 I have to avoid as many fights as I can as the scaling is unbalanced and if I level too much I'll have a shittier time.

It's looking like 9 then, I'm thinking about buying it for Steam. I have the console version though, is the updated PC variant worth it?

You don't have to avoid fights in 8, just don't do a million fights and level up a ton like an idiot. If you're as autistic as a person who does a low-level run in IX is though and you just can't accept gaining any unnecessary exp, Carding is an option. VIII seems to be more overrated than VII in /ffg/ anyway.

The PC version of IX just has the dumb cheats that the PC versions generally have. Just play the console version since you have it.

I've got another Kefka and a Golbez waiting in the wings, just keeping shanty and Luna around for TMs.

It's a lolmage team but I guess Cecil gets magic shout in 6* so that's something.

Espers, I have no idea. Golem clearly goes to Cecil and I have ramuh on Kefka for osmose once I evolve him.

Having a lot of fun so far, feels like I've always got something to do, and I'm rank 27. Got a few rolls saved up for a good banner, clearing out quests and just started S-5 BGN arena. Half-heartedly power levelling a 5* Fina, gonna get Laswell and Rain up in anticipation of future 6*.

I wish Edgar had a 5*, he's the most fun. I've got a Galuf kicking around, he seems like he might have some potential someday.

I'm really lacking in physical dps options. Cyan put in some good work for me but he's nothing compared to some of these Chizuru beasts in my friends list.
