why the fuck would people max Ozy's 3rd skill over his 2nd? That's so fucking dumb especially since you need 15 chains to even hit Lvl 7 skills for him.

Protection of the Sun God Lvl 1 vs Lvl 7: buff rate success up 20% vs 32%, NP charge is flat.

Imperial Privilege Lvl 1 vs 7
ATK/DEF UP 20% vs 32%, 1000 heal vs 2200 heal.

You're looking at 32% ATK/DEF Up and 2200 heal with an 80% success rate vs 20% ATK/DEF Up and 1000 heal with 92% success rate.

It's a clear no brainer that Imperial privilege is worth leveling up first. 80% Success rate with just Lvl 1 Protection of the Sun God is already very generous for how powerful a skill IP is. The only reason you'd want to get SG higher ranked is to lower CD for more NP charge but Ozy's got great art gain especially in a crit team already. Heck the heal by itself is already worth maxing out first since it cannot miss.

Heck I'd probably even max out Charisma second over Sun God for more damage, maybe get Sun God to Lvl 6 first before maxing out Charisma. No way in hell would I max Sun God first over IP though.

Robin's "nerf" came a whole year after he was released anyway, and euryale's usefulness doesn't even depend on a bug.

You're spending the massive amount of QP and materials required to Lvl10 a 5*'s skill on literally going from 80% success rate to 100% success rate and getting 20% NP charge every 6 turns instead of 8. If it was on someone with Vlad/Lancelot level arts gain maybe Sun God would be slightly more worth leveling up but Ozy can easily fill 20% with a single Arts card in 3rd slot, more if it crits (which happens often because Rider crit weight)

On the other hand Lvl 10 IP gets you from 20% Atk/Def Up to 40% for 3 TURNS on a 5 turn CD with 80% success rate. Plus the ATK/DEF buff chances are separate so the chance of you failing both is very low and even just one of the two buffs is already very fucking good. Not to mention a guaranteed 3000 heal on 5 turn CD which by itself is already fantastic for that heal amount on such a short CD. Most dedicated healing skills are only at or don't even hit 3k. For reference Nero Bride's 3rd skill at max rank is a targeted 3k heal and a 20% def buff for 3 turns on 5 turn CD, Jack's 3rd skill is plain 2.5k heal at 4 turn CD etc. Only a select few heal more (IP EX, Medea Lily/Iri, Void Shiki etc.)

Charisma B is also a great skill to level up, 18% teamwide attack buff for 3 turns on 5 turn CD. You'll be able to consistently have a 58% attack buff on Ozy for 3 out of every 5 turns, giving him 19k attack (20k+ if you max fou'd him, more with an offensive CE). Put that in a crit team with a crit damage up CE and you're reaching Jeanne Alter levels of damage.

The chance of a 4* is 3%, 1% for a 5*. 80% is already very generous. 100% guaranteed IP isn't worth it if the buff itself is meh. Lvl 10 IP + Lvl 1 SG >>> Lvl 1 IP + Lvl 10 SG. Like I mentioned above the guaranteed heal alone scales well enough to be worth maxing. Only a few other servants have miss-able buff skills so it's really not too big a concern especially since with SG most of them will hit 80% success rate anyway.

Why do you even left one of them at level 6?
Getting them to at least level 4 is piss easy, and getting them to level 6 shouldn't be that much of a problem since they only needs 12 Snake Jewel each.
Maxing IP before SG would make a 2 turn CD difference, making the ATK DEF buff less consistent. If you do the other way around they would have the same CD.

Yes, but it's the ATK DEF buff that's make IP such a great skill, and getting them guaranteed is even better.
