I'm not sure if it's specific to the quest, but you need to have an online gathering hall up for the glitch to "work." Its for the Deliver 10 coal Quest which gives charms based on the amount of coal delivered. Gaijinhunter did a vid telling people to deliver 30 or some shit and that he tested it and said it didn't give more after 30. However, cause he's gailjinhunter he doesnt beleive in taking advantage of glitches in a PvE game. Meaning, naturally, upon further testing, it turns out that every time you drop a coal in the box, the game assumes its a stack of a lot. So it gives you a shit ton of awards for each individual coal you drop in and it caps at 12 individual drops.

Explorer is a food skill that makes it so you start in the secret areas on maps you spawn randomly in.

Is the set you get from mining the huge sword any good this time around? Seems like it had some good skills but i'm not sure how it stacks up to other armors.

It is cheating, but think of it of cheating a broken system. Go out and mine normally and just hit mining nodes as intended. It's a long fucking grind to do it that way. Now do use this glitch, and its still a long grind but still considerably quicker. It takes hours of regular mining for these things and squishes them into... well into a lot less hours.

Now factor in that youre not getting a real advantage over anyone by doing this stuff. No one is gonna get hurt cause you got a solid talisman in 10 hours instead of 30 hours.

On top of all this, theres really nothing in the game that requires a perfect set to be killed. So you shouldnt feel obligated to use this glitch nor better than someone who uses it.

Doesn't make a difference, really. The potential charms in this game are really crappy in general, nothing like it was in 4U. You pretty much only run these farming sessions when you really need a slotted charm for one skill you're missing on your set.

And it's less cheating as you are only speeding up the process. One might argue why play the game if you exploit the game to get the goodies as soon as possible, but dunno. Many people, like me, want to get this shit done already to focus on the hunts (and in gitin gud).

Shaggy's armor is fucking final fantasy tier. It looks way too goofy.

Both Tri and 4 had Purple, but were reserved to Alatreon and Fatalis weapons, respectively, also only unlocked with Sharpness+1. They were meant as end game nukes, as they were the only weapons with that kinda damage boost.

I think Gens is kinda better in this regard, making the Nakarkos weapons trade raw for a fucklong natural blue sharpness bar. Makes you not need things like Sharpness+ or Razor Sharp and focus on other stuff, it's a nice idea.

I've figured out the one thing that needs to be removed from MH to make it an acceptable and fun series for everyone, from hardcore vets to casual soccer moms.

This is the most poorly designed questing shit ive ever seen in a game in my life. You basically have to 100% offline to get things done because they hide everything behind completely random, arbitrary, irrelevant quests which lead to more chains of them to unlock advanced missions offline which apparently is the only way to get some tickets. The person who designed the questing in Generations needs to be fired, rehired, then fired again.

Haven't hit Gen's endgame yet, but even with Hellblade weapons aside Narga and Tigrex weps seem to be the next best lot with full sharpness bars. Handicraft being split into two as well seems to make the skill appear useless.

Enough Recoil Down for your gun to get the 'Some' recoil level to fire pierce effectively. Dunno how mandatory Evade Extend is this time around with Adept HBG. But after core skills you then go for as many attack boosts as you possibly can.

On a bow set what is the overall better choice? Ammo Saver or Critical Eye+2, or Haphazard? The bow has no affinity so there's just the 20% added from critical eye. My other skills are Normal/Rapid Up, Rationer, Focus, and Peak Performance.

Ammo saver its a 20% chance of not using a coating. More power coatings = more damage over more time. If you use the 50 coatings you can bring, plus 20 combines, you can squeeze theoretically 28 more thanks to AS.

Haphazard is a 20% damage increase to arc/powershots. If you ALWAYS use powershots (and landed them), it would be the same damage increase from the shotUP skill. (1.1x). Now, you aren't going to be able to always use powershot, nor to always land them. But damn, 5 slot skill m8.

Critical eye is shit if you aren't doing a crit up build. a bow with 220 raw and -20% aff, becomes a 209 raw bow. Most of the time it would be better to use AuL or something else.

A massive, eastern water dragon in a massive cavern lair. It'd be partly submerged into the water for most of the fight with its chest and front claws on the floor of the cave for blademasters to reach.

It'd be a serene blue with a large frill on each side of it's head, with its long tail ending in a massive fan-like fin. Tendrils hang from its lower jaw (Think gold dragons from DnD), and on either side of it's tail.


There would be areas to climb up onto ledges with ballistas, and on one ledge a special weapon. Instead of the usual Dragonator, however, the weapon is a cannon that shoots a ball of electricity into the water that electrocutes anything in the water, which includes the elder dragon.

Depending on where the monster's front is around the edge of the water, there are areas you can climb and leap off onto it to attack its ears/head and back.

It occasionally shakes people off into the water. If swimming is in said game, you can swim to shore normally, if not, your character does so automatically. However, due to not jumping off in time, getting shaken off leaves you vulnerable to attacks as you climb up out of the water, as you could leap off its head and back to the ground when it gets ready to shake.

The battle starts off calmly, with the Elder Dragon cautiously eyeing the group as they enter and waiting on their first actions. As such, it won't attack first, unless you sit there for a good bit, then it takes the first strike to remove you from it's territory.

It's attacks include a water beam, melee swipes with it's claws, and a lunging bite. Every so often it uses the fan-like fin on it's tail to send large waves from it's large pool of water to crash over hunter.

If you're hit by the water, you get knocked over for a few moments and inflicted with Drowning. It's like the water version of bleeding, except it can only be removed by crouching so your hunter can spit up the water in their lungs. to be continued.

Getting hit by the water beam inflicts severe waterblight.

At 50% health it enrages, attacking faster and doing more damage. It will actively pay attention to where hunters are leaping off from to land on it. If a ledge is used too often, it will spit a beam of water at it and destroy it, leaving one less to use.

Once enraged it will occasionally send a wave large enough to cover the entire cavern's floor, where hunters get a window to run towards a small tunnel in one of the walls to take shelter (Or superman dive it), with the move being fatal most of the time for those hit.

It will also use it's tail directly once enraged, sweeping it at a hunter to send them flying. If the flying hunter hits a wall, they're stunned once they get up.

That's all I've thought up so far. Rate my shitty fight.

In Solo the Sakura original method (explorer and blue nodes) is by far a better method with 35% more timeworn charm after 8h of farming.
In 4man group the two methods are really close with only 7% more timeworn charm after 8h for the Sakura method.
However with the Sakura method you have a few more pros to add :
The path is always the same and so the run are really consistent and reproducible.
During the farming you get way more Shiny charm than can be potentially used for unorthodox set or at least sell.
You get more ore, more charm and more rust weapon with this method and so you get way more zenny.
Doing longer but fewer runs is to me easier and less brain damaging, especially when in 4man PUG you have always someone that isn't doing the quest properly and slow down the group and you have also to replace someone every 5 or 10 runs.
