So according to this, this screenshot is actually from when Ragna's memories are still missing. Since Ragna never fought Carl in Act 1, I think it's safe to assume that Ragna's memory loss will be significantly expanded on in the console story mode.

I learned about the driveloop combo at around 1k hours in
i'm near 3k hours and I can't do it without literal luck

well yes, but the driveloop combo is quite literally the best neutral combo terumi has in terms of damage output and meter return. if you can't do it then you squander the few opportunities you get in neutral, which is really bad because TE is super bad on the defensive in every way and has really awful pokes.
I think I can feel comfortable playing if I just do the easy stuff all the time anyways. most guys who join the lobbies don't actually play very seriously, if anything being super serious about it just kills the mood.

Proportions are kind of weird. The belt buckle on the right side of his chest (our left) doesn't make sense. Or at least, the folded bit of his jacket leading up to the collar doesn't, one or the other. Also, the artist doesn't seem to be entirely familiar with how perspective works, although it's far less noticeable on that portrait than it is on pic related. It's really all of Ragna's OTHER portraits that are the real problems. He looks almost grotesque in this.

The character art almost always looks better than the story portrait. Also, it's not strange for the story portraits to get details wrong. Every other artist draws Noel with slightly upwards-slanted almond-shaped eyes. Her face is actually supposed to be pretty similar to Jin's (which should be a clue to their relationship).

The way this guy draws Noel looks nothing like how Mori and Katou draw Noel. The face is just completely wrong.
