You get about 10k gold from doing the 60-65 vanguard questline up to the DFNM bit, a couple thousand vanguard credit, and depending on class 4 keen vyrsk which sell for about 1.8k.
I know a couple people who make reapers, grind it up and do that quest line and sell all the spoils to delete and remake. They claim its around 30k for a couple hours work. Seems like way more effort than i'd care to put in though.
I just take my brawler through whatever daily vanguard credit I can get and earn about 2-3k.

A number of reasons. Done well, ERP can take a fair amount of time and I don't feel like devoting that much time to it anymore. Even now, on vacation, I don't feel like devoting that much time to it anymore.
A staggering number of people in the TERA community have attachment issues; that kind of bullshit is not what I want to deal with at all, but it plagues the ERP community. Wouldn't be so bad if these people weren't so good at hiding their craziness. I remember at one point I started writing a list of all the crazy motherfuckers who'd blown up in this thread or in general, just to know who to avoid ERP'ing so I wouldn't get stuck dealing with their emotional fallout for a month. The list grew quickly, and not because my standards were abnormally high but just because every week some new person with attachment issues would show up, get fucked by someone, and then FLIP OUT because they weren't receiving 100 percent of their attention at all times.
The tera community is like a fucking minefield in that regard, and the possibility of stepping on a crazy person's issues was worth putting up with when I actually enjoyed ERP'ing, but not once it started to lose its fun factor. Anything loses its fun when you do it often enough and ERP is no exception. Getting a job and having way less time in general was just the final nail in the coffin.

Priest is fine, Mystic gets better DPS-related buffs with auras though, and can generally do more with its thralls and stuff if its just gonna be you two duoing content instead of using instance matching. Priest gets way better heals though.

Depends what you're using the slayer for. Slayers can be counter played in pvp pretty hard in a 1v1 settings against a lot of classes, which is a problem because they don't exactly excel in group pvp either.
PvE they can burst out a lot of damage.They still have a little mp issues but it's getting better with patches.
They' Viable, arguably one of the worst pvp classes, but still the burst is enough to get you through most situations.

Slayer is medium-high tier DPS, their burst and sustained damage are both fairly good, the only real issues they suffer from are a couple of bad animation locks, desync on certain moves, and MP issues that aren't a problem in good parties.
PvP wise some people maintain they're arguably one of the worst due to their lackluster moveset for less experienced people, if you know what you're doing, however, you can absolutely dunk people.

Priests are supposed to be the better heal-support class in exchange for not having as many DPS related buffs, but right now mystics have been buffed in regards to their healing, so that keeping people alive as a mystic is barely the challenge it used to be.
