No, I think it's gonna be a great expansion. Some areas will be disappointing, like the new gear, but all the actual content (new zone, raid, campaign, etc) looks fantastic.

The main problem it will have is that a lot of people will stop playing after a couple of months unless the events that Bungie cooks up are better than last year.

That, and they aren't marketing RoI well enough. Or rather they aren't advertising it at all. Even if they have no news to share, they need to be building hype SOMEHOW, but they're doing jackshit.

You might be able to get some higher stuff from the level 41 version of Prison. You can do the Challenge, you'll just die a little bit more often than everyone else, especially on the 3rd wave, but it really shouldn't be that big of a deal.

You could also do a raid and do the challenge, those drop items up to 335 light and by the time you get to Oryx you should have gotten some gear to raise you up some light levels.

if you were to implement your system you're basically dividing up trials into 3 distinct areas where the only difference is the avg K/D to win. Well tier 1 and 2 is just gonna be flooded with all the people who couldn't cut it against the streamer level people, so tier 3 becomes absolutely death inducing cancerous and the people who can cut it, go to tier 2 and so forth. Each day the passing score resets and gets higher. On friday the pass gets a minimum score to play on Saturday. If you didnt get the minimum on the day you dont get to play the next day.

You're just spouting memes. I doubt you have ever played Halo 5 and you're just regurgitating shit you've seen on /v/. Halo 5 is nothing like CoD except it has sprint and ADS. The core of Halo 5 multiplayer is more 'Halo' than Reach was. You spawn with two weapons that everyone else does, you move around the map and pick up stronger weapons, and everyone has the same abilities and stats. Unlike Destiny, where everyone spawns with unique weapons, stats and there are no pickups except for Special Ammo.

spartan charge has an even quicker ready time but cannot kill by getting hit from the front, and also has a long recovery animation if you miss

the gameplay is perfect but 343 are a bunch of idiots for pushing it out prematurely - missing BTB, Social and Forge at launch fucking killed the ongoing population

Honestly, the ideal thing there would depend on you. If you're someone who really likes using shotguns on people you might use a Universal Remote with some sniper as your secondary. If you like going extra fast, MIDA. If you like some sort of middle of the road, okay in any situation primary then grasp/any pulse rifle is for you.
