I totally agree. I'm OK with the system in theory, but they need to make it more than 1MMR (more like 5+, like some of the fucked up matchups I've seen here), and I think they should make underdog gains individual instead of team average, eg. a 45 who stacks with a 60 avg. and does well should gain more, and 65 who stacks with 5 45s and ends up playing against 50s should get less.

Even after over a month of playing and lots of tweaking settings and stuff, I still feel like my aim is nowhere close to what it was in CS. Something about Overwatch just feels "loose" in comparison to CS's "tight" and consistent aim.

Getting out of low levels sucks because the guys with the mics just use them to complain. Once you get high enough you get people who actually do callouts and strategize and that's the key to climbing.

If Winston is supposed to be a pick class that jumps on sniper and supports why does his lightning hit multiple people?

If you ever engage multiple targets you are guaranteed to die because you can't out DPS anything in the game.

Why is his shield so fragile for it being so big? It completely defeats the purpose of having a big fucking shield.

Wouldn't it make more sense for a anti-support class to have the ramp up damage like poo in loo so he can actually kill supports?

It feels like they wanted a tanky point contester/beserker character and also a fat pick class at the same time but that would be too good so they made Winston a compromise.

I agree for the most part, except Widowmaker still outsnipes Ana imo. But a lot of the defense heroes have the advantage when the other team doesn't play around their gimmick, which the def heroes are amazing at. Once around it, I feel def heroes are too inflexible to do anything else, unlike offense heroes who can deal with various situations.

Grenades shouldn't go on forever until they hit a surface. His trap shouldn't do 80 damage but that's alright it helps him survive.

Concussion mine is honestly fine as it is. Because you can just straight up use it to run away. But most opt to waste on the 50/50 chance they'll kill a flanker/ assault character. If anything i'd say he should be able to put down a maximum of 2~3 bear traps, that way he can help hold angles better while giving his team more awareness(If that kind of communication is going on.

Winston main here

Winston is supposed to be the anti-sniper/healer but you're playing him wrong if you can't kill them

Landing on people with your jump is pretty crucial as it does 50 damage which is almost 2 seconds of dps for you

Also shield dancing (even though the shield is weak) is crucial to playing winston well. I've killed reapers plenty of times just because I run in circles between them and my shield.

I do think they need to buff his shield but a damage buff would be too nuts. He's too mobile and too beefy to also do a lot of damage too. If anything they should make another 100 or even another 50 health into armor. Right now he can be solo'd by a Zenyatta even with considerable shield dancing though that may just be zenyatta being nuts too

Winston is fun as fuck when you actually get to learn him. I played 4 comp games around 56-57 and got 50%+ kill participation and most elims every game

How do you not understand how it works by now?

On capture point maps both teams are given 10 minutes (pending they can capture the first point to begin with) to capture as many points as possible.

If both teams get the same amount it goes to sudden death.

If both teams get 4 points, but the one team had time left over while the other went into the overtime to capture the last point - the team with time left over goes again and if they cap the first point they win (were able to get 5 points with their allotted time).

According to the official post, you don't have to currently be in the top 500 at the end of season, you just have to get to it at any point once the leaderboard activates and you'll get the rewards once the season closes. So, no need to attempt any kind of region switching shit, more trouble than it's worth.

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed the rewards aren't as exclusive as originally thought, but at least it means I can keep playing ranked without fear of losing my spot.
