I think it does. But it's worth it to maximise your Blood Damage.

Because the Bottleneck is within the Regenesis+ spell's Duration, not it's healing potency.
So max out the blood damage all you can.

It is a much faster arcade-y game.

Its pretty average though, it helps to be a fan of the MMO world on which the story is based.

All I know is I like the first one a great deal. The story and the characters were pretty uninteresting to start but they really developed into likeable people with a great deal of flaws. I still got a lot out of it even with the pink smoke and no voices, which is why I'll be picking up CG2 when it comes out.

I am a little late, but blood magic is relative to your defense, the more defense you have, the less damage you take with each use.

It makes the avalon blood sigils a little pointless, you dont have blood heart sigils for avalon either, and with your defense being so little every use of blood offerings will take half of your health.

Sanctuary is the natural blood build, with 60 life and 40 magic you can get something like 700 def and 200 atk, with fully upgraded blood sigils and black abyssal claws/regenesis seed you can fight long battles without worrying about death. 60 or 57 life is the very minimum you need to use blood offerings without losing too much health with each use.

I liked the game as well, do wish the class balance was better. I feel like Sword Warrior was far and away the best class.

I know its a completely different genre and they implemented the card system from the MMO as best they could but I really would have love to seen the skill depth from Ragnarok Online as well. Playing a support/bolter Professor was so much fun.
