I was thinking about switching weapons for one that deals paralyze, but I haven't really had a reason to yet since my weapons are pretty well upgraded, plated, tagged and I haven't lost them once yet.

Just synthesize paralysis into your weapon and then make a spare or pack some grass for that one enemy that eats debuffs, as a precaution. I don't have a spare and just use a jar that's full of wands but a spare is more economical. Once you upgrade a weapon to max by fighting with it (or sending it to rank it up with the wandering npcs) it gets an unlimited rune capacity.

You get an ability that heals all allies in a room and more than a few area attacks, so it becomes relatively easier. There's also an NPC who's literally designed to make night enemies his bitch, so you'll get a kick out of using him when you figure out how to unlock him.

Fuck me for letting the Eternal Wanderer Edition make me cancel my earlier pre-order. I could be playing the game already if I had stuck with it. Now I cancelled the LE pre-order so I could buy the regular version and not have to wait two and a half weeks. Would have had a lot more time to consider all the options beforehand if all the new info about EU release and LE being stocked in VGP wouldn't have come so late.

That's the conclusion I came to, as well. I was panicked when I saw VGP stockign the LE, and was blinded by the thought of being able to buy it for the artbook, and made a mistake. When I thought how much I actually don't do anything with that nonary bracelet, and how the soundtrack is the usual 10-song affair, I just don't think it's worth the price and the delay for the admittedly interesting hardcover artbook and alternate cover physical copy, when the regular version cover art is awesome, as well.

At least I can hope that with good luck, I might be able to get the physical copy for August 1st.

Recently I've enjoyed the LEs for Grand Kingdom and Trillion, even though some of the stuff from both of them weren't all that special. But the artbooks and soundtracks were awesome, along with Grand Kingdom's cast poster, so I wouldn't say all of them are entirely garbage.

Disgaea 4 Vita's CE was a big disappointment, though. Would have loved to buy it but the only thing I found interesting was the cleaning cloth, everything else was just full of why.jpg. It's strange, because the game itself is definitely one of the best you could buy for Vita.

Guess so little people bought it ever since the launch they had to lower the price that much. It's a shame, I bought the EU LE way after it was released due to money shortage, and I don't regret paying the full price for it because the game itself was so awesome.

Of course it felt a bit bad after paying over 70€ for the LE and one month later the digital version was in tjhe Big in Japan sale for 8€. That's one of the biggest, quickest and also saddest sale I've seen with Vita games. Such a good game shouldn't have had to downplay its worth that much that quickly.

Remember you can combine many of the attack spells with Evasion spells.
For example if you equip Beast Fang with one of the Evasion Feather spells.
Activate the Feather spell, hold down run to run, activate the Beast Fang and unlock another form of attack.
You can also do this with Mole Evasion spell, the one that lets you dig underground, it's also pretty cool.
And these two Evasion spells can also be used in combination with other spells like Spear, Weapons, Arms.

It's surprisingly decent, but suffers from really dumb design choices.

It has two modes, Ayato mode and OC Donut Steel mode.

OC Donut Steel starts you off as a puny weakling and you need your donut steel to git gud to be able to handle the tournament. It has all the gameplay but minimal dialogue or events.

Ayato mode starts you off as the Light Novel's protagonist with high stats and a powerful weapon so you can solo everything, plus all the girls fucking love you. The gameplay in this mode is garbage, but it has all the cutscenes and THE GIRLS DON'T FRIENDZONE YOU IN THIS MODE.
