OK, let's stop this pushing off responsibility bullshit right now, because it's rampant in this community.

First and foremost, you can group up, doing away with all of your "lottery" complaints

Second, people that are ranked near you are not infinitely shittier than you. This fiction seriously needs to stop. I have yet to meet a person over rank 60 that is total crap at the game.

So the rankings DO correlate with skill, though they're not exact. I challenge you to find somebody who is sitting 75+ right now that doesn't deserve whatever shitty reward blizzard has cooked up. It's just not you, sucks, but hey, Michael Jordan lost games too. Or maybe JUST MAYBE, you're not fucking Michael Jordan.

That being said, the highest variance in skill happens between 65 and 70 imo (and in 45-53ish, but we won't get into that). If you are 70 or higher, and get placed in a team of high 50s/low 60s against a team of mid-low 60s, the game is ENTIRELY winnable. The rest of your team is likely has comparable skill to the other.

And stop blaming coin flips. If you are that high in rank, you play a shitton, and they will even out over time.

Well the turret the way I see it, is there to supplement torb, if you put it in a good spot it will force at least one enemy to divert to take care of it, because you don't stick it with your team, then you can jump in and help your team with torbs nice attack kit and armor drops.
Most Torbs seem to want to run him as a Turret the character though.

Hanzo has wall-run, Mei has ice walls, Junkrat has the mine, WM has the grappling hook.

They have the damage too, problem is it's situational damage. That's their biggest problem, they're created for situations - area control - but when there are heroes who can control an area by outright kills, it nullifies the need for a "defence" category.

McCree's Ult alone is one of the best area denial Ults int he game, Reaper's Ult also functions similarly.

I think Defence heroes should just counter offence heroes harder without raising their damage values. If anything, the ease of their damage application that frustrates in lower level play comes from that crutch to help them deal damage outside of situations. Imagine if Junkrat would only deal respectable damage on direct hits or had slower reloads to discourage spamming, his damage would be laughable. Bastion dealing less damage or having wind-up time would see him killed before he'd kill anyone else.

Mei is an ok anti-flanker, but there are far better options.
She's good at stalling, I'll give her that, but when faced vs more than one enemy she'll have a rough time actually killing anyone.
All Hanzo has is his bullshit scatter arrow and Widow has a poor SMG, the reason everyone hates having Hanzo/Widow teammates is because 99% of them are complete deadweight, that can't push or defend a siege properly.

I stick turrets hidden on the point to alert me and my team of flankers, there's no point putting it on the frontline because it just gets shot down instantly.
The good thing about having a hidden turret is that if they make a siege, they probably don't know about it until it starts shooting them, doing a lot more damage than a turret in clear view to get shot down. Plus when it's getting destroyed you can activate Molten Core to push them back and at least save the turret for the meantime.

But yeah, the turret is secondary, his gun and being on the frontline collecting scrap for armour is good enough, it does it's job.

Its not the same as the MMO term Tank which is a Sword and Board aggro taker who keeps everyone safe.
They all server different purposes.

Roadhog can stay in a fight for a really long time.
D.va shuts down ults and can contest mobile heroes.
Rein is strong for breaking through choke holds due to his large barrier.
Zarya is good for shutting down debuff heroes, staying in the fight a long time, and saving people caught out, as well having the strongest ult in the game.
Winston is good for reporting people who pick him

The duration of the Ult is too long. Between faster movespeed, massive swing arcs and near-guarantee of a dash being off-cd, he doesn't the duration get around. Deflect should be at the expense of the Ult, not as a bonus.

I swear this happens all the fucking time, if you don't manage to kill someone once they always get away.
Same happens if you're getting hooked, Roadhog A will kill you 100% of the time with a hook and shot, but Roadhog B will always leave you with like half your health and you can escape.

As mentioned already, your aim is lacking. However, your positioning is also really bad. With S76 you'll want to be on high ground most of the time. At the start of the game, you should've been on top of the bridge thing, not under it or in front of their spawn. Once they get the first checkpoint, you might want to move to the top platform over the second checkpoint. Once they take the second checkpoint, go on top of the spaceship, etc. etc.

You also have to keep in mind that once they take certain checkpoints, their spawn will move forward. Like when they took the second checkpoint, you kept fighting in front of the gate. Their spawn is right there, so they'll have a massive advantage. Instead, you should've ran as soon as you saw the checkpoint was lost and gotten on top of the ship.

Allow me to enlighten you as to how we fix Genji in two simple steps.

1 - M2 RoF lowered
2 - Double jump has a cooldown.

That's all you need to do. No cd on double jump is part of the reason why Genji can just effortlessly slaughter people with his ult, because he's hoping around with increased movement speed while swinging around a tree trunk.
