Is Ferelden Frostback the only dragon that you can't just "hit until it dies"?
I think it's only one that uses adds and the stage in phases, like a Souls boss or something.
The only other dragon with any kind of gimmick that I can think of is the one in Exalted Plans that uses the electrified swamp water as a hazard.

I solved the quest. There are 4 sconces that can be lit with veilfire. Once lit, the platform raises up, and you can grab the blue torch, which contains the history of the origin of the exalted march on the Dales

Playing as a tank is boring.

You can roleplay, but after a certain point your class/race choices are less acknowledged. Your interactions with party members lose some value, since you can give them gifts to make them like you.

There's plenty of roleplaying freedom in the game and you don't have a karma meter. Your morality is more or less judged by how much the "good" characters like or dislike you
Mage is babby mode, melee rogue and 2H warrior are probably the hardest to get the hang of

Alistair is a good tank, but you can spec him into being a two-handed warrior if you really want to.

If you're doing archer, you should be a rogue, which means dexterity and cunning are your most important stats

The rule of thumb is to put 2/3 of the points into dex (if rogue), int (if mage), or str (if warrior) and 1/3 into cun (if rogue), wis (if mage), or dex (warrior)
It's really only good to put points into con if you find that you're dying a lot
