I have a wireless mouse that, while not made for gaming, feels pretty responsive. I only use it on my laptop when browsing, though, so I doubt that's the best indicator of any input lag. I've also heard the keymander has/had some input lag, but that may have been fixed since the reviews that said that are from 2014.

I'll say this now, you'll learn absolutely nothing by going invisible and sitting in a corner, in the few portions of King's Fall that that's actually possible without wiping everyone. You will learn much faster by doing things, even if you screw up. But you need to get to higher light level first. Once you can hold your own without having the entire party coddle you, you'll get the mechanics down faster.
Getting a Black Spindle and starting in on the Touch of Malice quest will also help.
