Genji could USE a minor nerf. Not anything big, but just something to make him less dominating in very high level play.

He's actually completely useless in low level play, pretty balanced in mid-level play, but completely rules the 70s bracket.

I don't have all the answers for the solution, but I think removing one of his three passives would be a good move. His kit is double the size (eight abilities, including m1/q which everyone gets - nine if you consider his 9% higher base movement speed a fourth "passive") of most other heroes so he could stand to lose something.

Healers are vital, and can carry, but they're also the support. If the team isn't doing their job, you won't get as far.
That is why Tanks are often seen as the best carries, or some of the offense characters if played very well, as they can either hold their own, or make sure their team lives long enough to get shit done.

That said, the best carries are actually the people who communicate with their team, because while you do occasionally run into the assholes and idiots, most people do actually think winning is fun, and as long as you don't call them a bunch of dickless wimps, they'll listen to advice on where to go and what to do.

I wouldn't recommend Support though if you feel you're a good player, since it's frustrating as fuck as you're completely reliant on your team. I prefer making a difference and actually taking note of team composition because I have braincells unlike half of the pubs
I will play Support if I have to, and Lucio is my most played but lowest winrate, though that would explain how I barely rank down via losses if Support gives extra points.

If you manage to get near to a group of enemies your tickle cannon can deal amazing amounts of damage and you can charge your ult in ten seconds flat, the problem is unless you have an Ana or something giving you intense heals you will fucking explode shortly after hitting m1.
Your ult is amazing, you now have top class mobility, a health bar unrivaled by any other hero, and a constant knockback that will keep the red team from ever positioning near a cliff.

It's pretty easy to get if you're fighting a defensive chokepoint like Kings Row or Volskaya Industries where the enemy spawn is 5 seconds away. I got that achievement by playing ridiculously aggressively with another Zarya on my team.

Most of the folks I've talked to who have that one say they got it on attack and were just balls-out aggressive.

I got mine on defense by constantly shielding our healer against the swarm of asshurt flankers desperate to kill her.

The less you think about it, the more naturally it'll come. If you start tilting over completing an achievement, you're more likely to get reckless, die, and not only wipe your progress but potentially lose the game.

What is the eternal average player skill level on ranked? I played pretty casually before but now im done school and ive been permanently in the 40's.. in between 43-47. This is mainly solo que and the range fucking stretches (ive seen level 53's in my games). Anyone else in the same boat? Id like to think of myself as an average player who always plays his part but it seems i always have one or two dead weights on my team who dont seem to give a fuck about team composition.. so people will stay their "main" while others try to fucking help out

On Reaper, I upped my sensitivity and switched my crosshair to a green dot like someone in /owg/ suggested, and it helped a whole lot.
You basically have to get it directly on your target to hit them at any range. Remember to aim a bit ahead of faster targets
Try to get behind the enemy team and take out their healers, pick off anyone that isn't with the group. Dumbasses trickling back into the fight one at a time is the single biggest killer of teams.
Eat tanks for breakfast before they can break your ranks. Don't overcharge Zaryas like a dumbshit.
You can off-tank a fair bit. Remember to sneak back to health packs in the middle of fights.
Getting the attention of Bastions and Ikea turrets while someone else takes them out.

hook+shot combo for a guaranteed full crit burst which does half of her HP in damage. You literally cannot miss this.

Either she'll scoot away, in which case repeat in a few seconds, or she'll try to play the matrix game with you. If she does the matrix game, just don't fucking shoot. Wait until she starts shooting or the matrix shoots out. There's a slight delay going on when you drop the matrix before you can pick it up again. She might get one or two shots in on you, but that's nothing considering the damage you'll do to her.
There is literally no way a Dva will ever kill a roadhog unless he's a huge retard.

You might not be able to kill her and she might counter your ult but she gives you free ults

Having tilted my way down to 35 before, I can safely say that people are a lot nicer down there. Most people there are bad enough to have understood and accepted that they're bad and they just try to be positive and have good games.

Getting back up into the high 40s and low 50s I've seen a lot more people calling out whoever they think made them lose and a lot fewer people apologizing for bad performances without being yelled at by some salty guy on voice chat first. Dunning-Kruger is out in full force at the average ranks. Everyone here thinks they belong in the 60s and only fail to make it there because their team's Soldier didn't kill a turret once or whatever so they better bitch at that Soldier in chat and put him in his place.
